HAHAHAHA u will love the halo setting cus its really bling, but too much of a bling factor, need to consider if ur fiancee will wear it daily or only for occasions.

Nothing is too big ba. 0.6 to 0.7 should be okay, consider a little above average as compared to others on the streets. It really depends how much you wana spend on her. if cannot hit your budget, maybe you can consider taking F colour or VS2, it's good enough already. who knows u can get a little bigger than 0.6 if u take vs2 with that budget.

so am i right to say that if the colour & VS is lower , the bigger the stone i can buy ? like bigger carat size.

I got a 0.57ct,D VS2 with side diamonds and halo setting for $6250. Just to give you an idea of how much 6k can take you up to.

Can like that say la, you're sacrificing the colour and clarity for the size lor. Can always make an appointment with JP to learn more! It was very insightful after sitting thru the 'lesson' hahaha

Every upgrade in colour or clarity will cost 5-10% increase in price =)

This was mine last time when I saw was still being educated on the diamond. This is for my 4th year upgrade pressie hahaha. Its so much better than my old diamond ring. Wished my hubby knew about JP earlier.. haix..
