it is hard to tell whether it is a good buy just base on the above information. really depend on personal preference.

From my understanding, the polish/symmetry for the brilliant rose usually very good/very good or good/good.. its seldom excellent/excellent.

To sum things up, the
brilliant rose - 66 facets, no hearts and arrows
destinee royale - 81 facets, 10 hearts and arrows
solasfera - 91 facets, 10 hearts and arrows

It's a pity that the brilliant rose and destinee royale don't have the Ideal and ASET scope to compare the light performance... cos sometimes the shops put the diamond under the strong spotlight, which can be quite biased..

compared with the solasfera
which scores the highest for all three points

You can see the performance of the solasfera compared to other diamonds here.. but one thing about hearts and arrows diamonds is you can see the arrows burning in the diamond.. for the modified rounds with no hearts and arrows, i find their sparkles to be smaller and abit messier..

Don't forget, when a diamond hits 0.7ct, it take a price premium too...

Hmm.. had a good read...
On the Brilliant Rose Ideal scope, I notice there are light leakages in the middle and at the edges (girdle) of the diamond.. this means that it has dugged girdles and the light leakage part is going to look dull...

What cut did u choose?

Can ask jeweler to also show u the rap report to gauge how much premium over rap price they are charging.

Helped my friend with his proposal last night His gf/fiancé Bday was on Christmas.. So we had a countdown paty last night. He wrapped the ring in many boxes so it looked like a big present and gave her as a surprise. It was quite unexpected.. Haha

i choose the round brilliant, bought it from JannPaul. By the way what is the rap report ? The AGS Cert thing ? haha sry i didnt levelup much after their orientation.
