Need comments.. which one suits my gf hand better? She always comprain of her fatty fingers.

Picture 1- Cushion Brellia with classic ring

Picture 2 - Cushion Brellia with narrow side diamond and twin claw

Picture 3 - Cushion Brellia with broad side diamond

I have narrowed down to these 3 rings.
Appreciate the feedback. Please don't comment on the diamond size, I already chose it as there is significant meaning to the number :)

Picture 1 and 2 looks almost the same to me.. I would say go for picture 3. I prefer abit of side diamonds. But I know some girls prefer rings without the side diamonds at all... You might want to pretend pretend go window shopping to get some hints :)

Number 2 doesn't look nice because of the shape of the band narrowing in towards the diamond. I think that an even-looking band is the best that's why I like number 3 and number 1. IMO side diamonds are really very pretty so I'd favour number 3 over number 1.

Ya I'll also say go for the 3rd one. The side diamonds draws more attention to the ring, making the fingers look slender.

Actually, the shape of the band in number 2 is designed with intent. One of the popular feature to make the diamond looks bigger. Perhaps the 'illusion' couldn't trick your eagle eye.

Side diamonds got its side effect - double-edged sword. It is nice as whole ring will looks 'blinger', but they will snatch the focus on the main diamond. By manipulating with the size and placement of the side diamonds, good designers can actually strike a balance to make the side diamonds complement the main diamond.

I choose 2nd Pic but can change the "monster claws"? The narrow side has the effect of making the diamond stand out.

Pic 1 is classic but common and Pic 3 side diamonds might steal some limelight from the main diamond.

If wanna be safe go Pic 1, wanna bling go Pic 3, wanna bring out the diamond Pic 2.

I will go for slightly thicker band as my finger are also those Ba Ba kind.

Side diamond is nice but u need to see if it match ur wedding band not.

Type 2 is nice but I dun quite like the band. IMO la.

Like what I did over at Ling jewellery, can try mix those features in number 2 and 3 rings. Narrowing band with side diamonds. I do not like double claws too. Just my personal preference.

It is Solasfera! With its stringent control, how bad can it be???

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Diamond is only as good as what you think it will be, others can't prove you wrong.

Looks good for my novice eyes... Any experts care to comment?

I realized that the gaps between 'heart' and 'v' are quite narrow, whereas mine is double your gap size. I not sure how does that going to influence the diamond, but everything looks good!

Haha yea true...beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Initially I was choosing btn a super ideal H&A n the solasfera. Casey then brought them out of the shop into natural lighting...that was when the solasfera outshone the H&A, n I immediately knew which diamond to go for.

It's really depend what color u r looking at. If u wan super high end like d vvs1 den small carat size.

If u wan bigger size den plus setting u can get ard 0.63 f vs2 or if maybe g vs2. hard to come across bigger den 0.65 diamond at JP with f color.

I'm still waiting for the next batch to see anything close to 0.68.

For carat size .x0, .x1 and .x3 considered risky for price downgrades. But sometimes I am wondering is it worth it to pay extra (.x7~.x9 will cost premium due to it rarity) to get anything more than .x3 carat, since they will still fall within the same carat range. For example, when ppl briefly ask you about your carat size, no matter 0.43 and 0.48 still be consider 0.4 carat and both visually got hardly any diff too. Unless for 0.48, you round up and said 0.5 carat... haha

I recently bought a .51 G VS1 Solasfera with a 4 prong setting from JP. And I have one word to describe it : PERFECT! The Solasfera has this "WOW!" factor that will stun anyone who will grace upon it.

I'll post my story later on, but this post is just to praise JannPaul (credits to David) for their excellent service and on helping me with the proposal. These guys are not only here to sell diamonds and rings, they are here to HELP (that's the most important thing for me) you choose the one ring that will signify your love and commitment to your SO.

BTW, thanks to all who posted here previously. I am grateful for all your comments and suggestions. My SO has now the perfect ring because of you guys!
