Hi guys, please pardon me on what is an innocent question with no ill-intent, but in this aset scope picture there is a small occluded part right in the centre - is that normal?

I think its normal.. I remember seeing some past aset scope pictures that was posted before having it.. My Solasfera has it too

I got this price from Jann Paul.

There was a mix up on their end, where they billed me $8.5k just for the diamond alone. The setting was going to cost me another $1.2k..

However, that being said, they were honest in getting back to me about their error a week after when they did their monthly housekeeping. In actual fact, the cost of the diamond is $7.3k, with the setting costing me another $1.2k. Jann has apologised to me on this, and I will not pursue this.

Anyway, is the price of $7.3k a more reasonable price now? Am asking because I really do not know much about diamonds.

Yes. $7.3k is now more reasonable for a 0.78 F VS2 Super Ideal from JP.

I guess your setting should come with side stones based on the price of $1200.

Hey guys,

Can help me see whether this heart and arrow scope of the diamond is ok? No matter how i adjust, i just could not get the "sysmetry arrows" out of the scope.

It seems ok to me. The light seems like reflections.

Its your preference..

From the front, I would prefer 6 prongs because I think it makes the diamond look rounder.. It looks more complete to me and kinda like a flower compared to the 4 prongs which looks abit squarish??

From the side, 4 prongs does looks better if you want to see more your diamond. Looks more simple too if you don't like those fancy design type setting.

Mine is 6 prongs but with a twist design.. I feel 6 prongs makes the ring look more complete for some reason =:p

Can you call this a Vintagey design? My girl hinted she likes the wedding to be retro and vintagey so her costume jewelry are always vintagey.

Perhaps, you can also visit Antique Engagement Rings, Vintage Engagement Rings | Brilliant Earth for ideas. You should be visualizing how it would look on her, whether it suits her and whether she will like it. Generally, yes, it looks vintage, but it also depends whether how vintage she is. I have seen designs which are more vintage.

For those who are customizing your ring with JP, you can make a green plastic ring of your design now.. saw this on their fb.

hey people,

Do you all only look for Jann or Paul or anyone from house of hung??

Would it be possible to just walk into house of hung and request to speak to Jann or Paul without appointment if I just happen to walk pass one day?

You should contact them for an appointment. I believe they operate differently. Their appointments usually takes 2 hours.. might be abit long but it's worth it
