Anyone can advise? :s12:

Which of these diamonds is better?

1) Heart Shaped Diamond
Carat weight:0.50
Cut: Very Good
Colour: D
Clarity: VS2
Depth %: 59.6%
Table %: 61%
Polish: Excellent
Symmetry:Very Good
Girdle: Slightly Thick to Very Thick
Culet: None
Fluorescence: None
Measurements: 4.99 x 5.53 x 3.29 mm
Length/width ratio: 0.9
Clarity Characteristics: Knot

2) Heart Shaped Diamond
Carat weight: 0.50
Cut: Very Good
Colour: E
Clarity: VS2
Depth %: 59.1%
Table %: 59%
Polish: Very Good
Symmetry: Very Good
Girdle: Slightly Thick to Very Thick
Culet: None
Fluorescence: None
Measurements: 4.92 x 5.41 x 3.20 mm
Length/width ratio: 0.91
Clarity Characteristics: Crystal, Feather

The table and depth % for both are good. Ratio should be ok too since it's close to 1.
The only thing is that it's a round number carat size.. try to go for 0.5X rather than a round number size.. Becos a 0.4X will be much cheaper.

Other than that, the rest you will need to see the diamond yourself.. when it comes to heart shapes, some can have uneven lobes, like the left side is bigger than the right, etc. Those you need to spot yourself becos the certificate won't show

That's a nicely cut diamond! I see 2 faint spots on the 3 o/clock heart.. I think thats probably the inclusion.. Were you able to see the inclusions with your naked eyes?

Yes the two faint spots are the inclusion.. And can only be seen from the hearts arrow scope from the back... Can't tell the inclusion thru human eye though...

As long as you can't see the inclusion through the human eye, it's fine.. higher clarity won't make a difference with the human eye already

Interesting.. this is a nice Ideal diamond.. I wouldn't classify this as a Super Ideal though..

Reason:
1. It has painted girdles
2. Bezel light leakages
3. It has a SF/LG combo of 51/75.. for a 75 LG, it should have minimum 55 SF. Or it has 51 SF, it should have minimum 80SF. A mismatch in this combo will result in less fire

The proportions are fine for both diamonds and they have low HCA scores..

You forgot to input the SF and LG.

Carat: 0.52
Color: F
Clarity: VS2
Clarity Characteristics: ?

Cut Grade: Excellent
Polish: Excellent
Symmetry: Excellent

Crown Angle: ?
Pavilion Angle: ?
Table: ?
Depth: ?

Star Length: ?
Lower Girdle Length: ?

Fluorescence: ?

Picture of Aset scope: ?
Picture of Hearts and Arrows scope: ?

If can, provide the Aset and Hearts and Arrows scope pictures.. Afterall, I'm using the numbers only to analyze the diamond.

Most girls I know would prefer to be minimum F color as it's still in that 'colorless range'.. although I doubt most can see a obvious difference between a F and G.. :s13:

0.52 F VS2
star length: 55%
lower half: 75% (Is this the lower gridle length)
gridle: Medium to slightly thibk, faceted, 3.5%

0.51 F VS2
star length: 55%
lower half: 75%
gridle: Medium to slightly thibk, faceted, 3.5%

Normally, These spots are inclusions, which generally are graded by its clarity. As you go down the grades of clarity, these spots would get more and be more obvious. They dont affect the performance.
