Sorry, u asked this question for the third time... how are we expected to comment?

The prices quoted are based on a matrix by JP. Someone who orders something similiar would get quoted roughly the same price.

You did not attach scope pictures so none of the experienced hands here can comment.

Maybe I shall congratulate you on purchasing a nice piece of diamond

Just bought my proposal ring from Meyson, it's a 0.5ct E VS2, calculated the HCA, got a.score.of 1.0. Together with ring setting $3770
Saw through their 10x scope I.cud see.the arrows quite symmetrical.

What you guys thing

Yeah, sorry we are not ignoring you..but the price seems to be okay...because it is solasfera you can never go wrong with it...some more solasfera is a bit expensive than the super ideal... i think for atleast 20% and can go even higher if the demand is high.

And the color is E, if theres an available choices you can play with the color be it F or G..the price will be a bit lower.

If you have an option to purchase a Round Brilliant Cut Diamond G VS1 with Very Good polish, symmetry and cut and the HCA report is .8 would you buy it?

Congrats! Please share pics after you collected :)
I collected... still trying to find out how to take good photos of it... haha...

since it's sparkles so well, the camera can't focus on it automatically... looks like need to go manual focusing mode....

even then, the light reflection makes details hard to come by unless i photoshop...

One thing I didn't expect was that my round diamond based on a 4 prong setting... looks abit Squarish from further out..

The HCA is only a guide and can be very misleading. If the diamond have very poor light return and bad symmetry, it can still have a good HCA score. The report only measures a few of the many facets a diamond have.. so best is to still use the scopes.

i think it's really hard to capture a diamond's sparkle in still pictures. Maybe a short video will do it more justice ;)

Thanks Bro for the reminder ;-) the diamond is mounted, the arrows since to be okay, no chips seen, no visible clouds, no black carbon visible to the eye ;-) The price is the nice one thats why he cannot let go of it ;-)

BTW i am helping a friend to buy.

Is it possible to purchase a ASET or Ideal Scope in Singapore?

Im not sure if they are offering it commercially here in SG, as you will only see it commonly use in Jewelry shops and still most of the shops here are not using it. There only few shops that can offer you that scope if needed.

BUT, you can order online i guess.

Dear diamond gurus

To be honest, my partner and I are quite brand conscious and we are open to paying a premium for branded jewelers given the equivalent product. Besides Tiffany and Co, Cartier any others to consider ?

We have walked past De beers at MBS once, any idea how much are their engagement rings priced from ?

But for the other brands, how about Graff or Neil Lane?
