nomoreliaola, do you have the hearts scope? Not too sure but I guess this stone is in the "Ideal" grade due to the 60.6% depth? And the stars are abit uneven too.

After countless of comparison and research, i've finally ordered and received this within 3 days. Couldn't be happier!! The gem actually exceeded my expectation, and being a non-believer in diamonds, i must say that it actually kick the crap out of my girl's existing CZ. It just doesn't even come close and i can't stop looking at it myself. lol! :D

0.65-Carat Blue Nile Signature Round Diamond (F, VS2, 3EX, HCA 0.9)

Best of all, i did not get taxed for some reason. I paid exactly the value of the diamond (S$3.9k++) shown on the website plus the setting which is S$220. The only complain i have is, there is no Idealscope/ASET image that comes with it but then again, maybe i don't even need it.

The similar but slightly inferior super ideal gem quoted by JP was $4.8k for the gem (0.64cts, G, VS2, 3EX, HCA 1.2) , and $550 for a 18k White Gold setting but i wasn't very impressed as the images they provided to me wasn't convincing enough.

Congrats!! Of course diamond will be better than a CZ! :s13:

The scopes are more important that the HCA score. The HCA can only weed out some bad diamonds, but not all of them.

Actually, you can only use the scopes and not the HCA calculator..

Anyway, as long as she like, can already.. It is the thought that counts :)

Btw, the sometimes they charge the tax before delivery but sometimes after. There was once I bought my stuff online, the tax letter came 1 month later.

About the tax, I think the courier will ask you days after the delivery.

One of our Bro here did order I think this month as well, and the tax came in days after they have delivered the item, the courier have paid the tax before hand and now collecting it from him.

Congrats on your diamond!!!

Congrats on your purchase, most importantly you are happy wif what you are paying for. For me I think I changed my mind 3 times or so before deciding on the stone I have gotten, Casey has been very patient with me. :D

The answer to your question is Yes. :) Guess bec' JP is now operating within HoH that is why they are using the HoH receipt. We did ask JP why but can't remember what the reply was though. Maybe you can highlight your concern to JP? =:p
Jann's father owns HOH thats why JP is housed there.

I'm confused.. isn't Verragio another brand?
You're talking about this Designer Engagement Rings and Wedding Rings by Verragio right?

Browsed some of their rings.. they've got alot of designs.. most of them seems to be the vintage type with alot of side diamonds.. though a few of them are the simple ones.. this one caught my eye

Guys need your frank opinions again.
What do you think of this stone under the scope images and proportions ?
FYI: This is an "non-super" Ideal from JP.

HCA: 1.5

It's really nice for an Ideal Stone and it is good to know that even on ideal stone they are providing the scope images.

H&A would not be a basis I supposed but it being an AGS 000, proportions must be really good.

Hi Hollander, you mean through the H&A image is probably the reason why it's not super ideal ?

Hmmm... beats me too why this stone is an Ideal too... the scopes looks good and the proportions also. Just that there is a tiny wee bit of unevenness on the V portion of the hearts and a little "chipped off" on the arrow at 12 o'clock. Did JP say why this stone is an Ideal? =:p

About to put my order in for a ring. Very happy.
But need some help with payment.
JP were saying they offer interest free payment with DBS and UOB. Which company is better?
