Then I guess you may have to check with them again why there is no GIA cert already. If they dun provide maybe ask for a refund and return the ring?:s22:

no GIA cert is not a valid reason to get a refund.. there is no rule that diamonds must have GIA cert..

No. They only give me the celestial certificate. I ask for the gia cert, they say dont have. Thats why im confuse. Anyone got any idea on this??

Celestial is like their top range diamonds le.. Just like Brilliant rose from SooKee and that one comes with GIA cert for sure too. Did they say yours don't have or all Celestial don't have?

if website say ALL celestial diamonds have GIA cert then can ask for refund lor.. but if website only say they got sell GIA certified diamonds then they can say it is not for ALL diamonds..

bro Calyxplinius, your "6 weeks time" caught my attention. My understanding is it takes about 4-6weeks to make the ring. Not sure if you have decided on the diamond but time is running up on you.

u all so patient can wait so long.. :s13: my purchase from another shop took less than a week from selecting the stone to setting it on the ring.. but it's a just standard simple setting lah.. :D

The only branded diamond I know that don't use GIA or AGS cert is Tiffany. They use their own cert.
If they say 0.5ct have GIA cert, I don't see any reason why a 0.3ct won't have if it's in their same brand cut range.

U can direct them back to their website and show them that they did mention their celestial will come with GIA cert for stone above 0.3ct see what they say?

Don't think the lemon law is applicable to this. It is for defective goods. Technically, a diamond is not defective without a cert, even if it's suppose to have one. Unless they did state it comes with GIA cert.

mine bought from lovis.. :D

Lovis diamonds are actually not bad. But I didnt like their service attitude. Was rhere during the new year and the salesgirl wasnt even interested in entertaining me. I had to keep asking her to show me the diamonds. The whole experience was very one sided. I went im for less than 5 mins and left.
