Sounds cheap for the carat. The hca should be good too?

fancy shape diamonds are usually cheaper for the same carat as a round diamond afaik

The clarity and carat no change? I chose D, VS cos of my friend's recommendation. Frankly speaking when I was shown a D n g against the white paper I can't tell e diff. Maybe cos diamond not that big (like 1 carat)?

Anw I guess it's working within ur budget. 1.5k sounds like a large percentage increase of ur current diamond!

That's true.. Cos I think for normal round diamond I was told for 1.68m girl 0.6-.7 will do. I guess find a gd one with a gd cut that give the shine and brilliance is more important!

Btw can anyone advise if a vs2 clarity is gd enough for a diamond? I reserved a 0.71 D vs2 that day while there is a 0.7 g vvs at slightly more ex but I chose color over clarity

IMO, if I have to choose, I will prefer color > clarity.

Well, SO's proposal ring was a non certified 0.3 some 14 yrs ago... Tat time was still a poor NSman. The more than 0.7 ring was given 14 yrs later as our wedding anniversary gift. Also buy based on wat can afford too

Solasfera 0.51c D color VVS2 for 5.7k by the other member.. I guess ur specs should be around the same price given a larger carat but lower color and clarity
