Hi guys, need a price check..

Was hoping that to purchase a Jp solasfera, 0.6 - 0.64 carat range, VVS1 or VVS2, E colour.

How much do i have to fork out for the stone, and casing?

If Solasfera is 10% more than super ideal! I expect to cost around 7k with setting

The stone will be at least S$7k, setting of the ring another $500. So will come up to about at least $7.5k~

Because it is not from JP.

Any idea on the standard of their diamond.

What details should I watch out for on the scope because they do not do different scope like what JP is doing.

They only have the hearts n arrows scopes but not the important ones like the ideal and aset scopes. I don't know how they classify their Ideal cut diamonds though. They showed me 2 of their Ideal cut diamonds.. one had HCA score 2 the other was a 4. Maybe to them triple Excellent is their ideal cut.

1. No hard and fuss rule how big it must be. Usually people go for 0.3 carat & above.
2. It depends on your budget. Some people only budget for $2K while some $10K.
3. There are many jewellery shops around like Goldheart, Lee Hwa, Soo Kee, SK, which in my opinion carries better stuff than Taka. No offence to anyone who bought from Taka but it really depends on individual.
