Proposal Ring - Part 2

I wonder how you're going to match your octagon diamond with a ring design.. Quite hard to imagine. haha. How many claws your the ring have?

Octagon can only go with 4 prongs but 2 ways to choose how to set the diamond.

1. "Pointed" at NSEW

2. "Flat" at NSEW

Prefer the 1st one as i feel it brings out more of the octagon shape. But pondering if I should go for side diamond like the one below or not.

Any comments?

Confirmed a diamond with JP today. Chose their Solasfera diamond Originally wanted their Octagon diamond but they didn't have the specs we wanted. Couldn't afford to wait for their next shipment too.. flat is coming soon The Solasfera is very nice too. We were sold when they showed us the diamond outside the store under the sun. haha. It was very very brilliant.

Picked out a 0.61 G VS1 with a twist side diamond setting. Just nice they have a ready set ring on their display in the same design but in a different diamond cut. Diamond is the same size I'm getting. Can't really see in the photo but the prongs are heart shape.

Good thing about small fingers is the diamond look bigger.. haha. FYI, her ring finger size is 7.

octagon is priced almost like solasfera. about 20% more expensive than super ideal. plus it doesn't look like a 0.56. i thought it's a 0.7+ when you put beside your existing proposal ring, so definitely worth it!

Not too sure abt octagon. Mine is super idea 0.51 D VS1. 4.25k
