IMO, if your e-ring is white gold, I think your band do white gold better. White gold and platinum wears out differently. White gold will be slightly yellow and platinum will be darker colour. So if you wear together, you will see the difference over the years.

Mmm this is something to consider as well, thanks alot for the suggestions!!! When white gold gets worn out can always bring back for polishing and it will be as good as new right

This is the scopes for my Octavia.

This one was the Octagon that I was considering.

Both are different cuts. I like the hearts and arrows pattern that the Octagon has. It has a "cleaner" appearance. But when I saw the Octavia, I find that the sparkles was more "chunky" and "flashy".

Haha.. I was abit kiasu also la. I thought since I'm spending so much, might as well take more photos and videos of it. At first I felt quite pai seh.. but after awhile, got used to it already.. Anyway, they are very friendly and open about taking photos of their stuff. They even teach me how to take nicer photos.

Lol. I only know how to see the hearts & arrows scopes.. I never see the Ocatvia before.. So I olso dunno how its suppose to look like. Anyway, it should be good la.. since its from JP

Ya. JP gives 2 free polishing and replating services for e-ring. It will remove any scratches too.
I re-sized my ring once, and they automatically polish my ring for me. I still got my 2 free polishing.

Thanks. You should see the scopes of the asscher cut. 70% of the diamond is light leakages.. haha

Enjoy the selection process. My husband and I enjoyed ourselves learning about diamonds, its like attending a 2hours diamond course together and its free!!!. lol

There is no right or wrong for this. My husband and I have mismatch bands. End of the day, is what you and your partner like and happy about it. Till now, we are still wearing our bands everyday.

Yea, its their new cutting. It came like just a month after the Octagon.

Hi, I need some advise. I've read about the great reviews with JP but I'm looking for wedding bands with no diamonds. She doesn't like diamonds, prefer gold with engraved designs etc. Was wondering if JP would entertain us? If not, any recommendation? Thank you!

They usually will advice about 2-3 months for the wedding band to be ready. But still depending on the design you have choose.

From what I see, House of Hung staffs will entertain you for the wedding band as they are more familiar with. Unless you are an existing customer of JannPaul then they won't mind to assist you too. Why not you just visit the store and have a look yourself, they have wide range of designs.

Other than House of Hung, I quite like the wedding bands from Lee Hwa. In my opinion their bands for men are much more well polished and have the premium feel. haha Some retail manager willing to give you the best voucher to offset the price and you also can find people selling vouchers for a good price too. So the price is quite attractive too.
