My classic simple wedding band =) Decided not to go for platinum cause it cost $1k more and it's too thick for my liking =(

Took this shot as LOVE surrounds Me & You aka my DH =P

This is the solasfera series right, there is no light leakage from your scope image. THUMBSUP!

thanks :) yeah.. it's solasfera.. But then.. is the arrow and hearts sharp enough? i saw like there's some alittle bit of mis-alignment though..

oh, i thot for 18k white gold setting ~$550, for platinum ~$950. so platinum is $400 more wat :D

Not too sure eh, cause Poh Heng sells the platinum in $1388. The white gold I bought was $380. And I think some forum guys did mention that its better to have the same material as my e-ring setting so they dont look different over time and to prevent scratches within each other?

But the platinum one did not have the size I wanted, too thick to my liking

What I understand is that both white gold and platinum will scratched eventually

just received my scope pictures! seems like all the images looks very similar...

Nice scope images! I also feel the same as you but i believe cause they are all super ideal cuts so rthe scope should look roughly the same. But if really scrutinize i believe ther are still differenced.

Just got proposed yesterday! :) i love how the diamond sparkles and it is sparkly all the time. But i cant see the very obvious arrows in my diamond like what you guys previously posted.

Understand cut must go for excellent.

How about colour and clarity? What is the minimum?

some people think that minimum for colour is F, cos they are more sensitive to the colour difference. some people think that G is good enough.

for clarity, i feel VS2 is the minimum. then again different diamonds have inclusions at different spots. a VS2 diamond with side inclusion may look better than a VS1 diamond with centre inclusion.

most importantly work within your budget. :)

$8k can get 0.7-0.8 carat inclusive of standard setting for super ideal diamond. if you want brellia/octavia, add about 20% more. if you want more elaborate setting, all in all should be about $10k.
