their 1.5 carat looks like 1 carat to me leh.

How much did you pay it for? But do bear in mind there is a big price jump once the carat goes beyond 0.5 =) I have a 0.46 E VVS1 $3.5k.

When I was thinking of upgrading my diamonds, I was quoted the below pricing, maybe you want to take a look and drop the clarity?

0.55 E VS2
Price: $4550

0.58 D VS2
Price: $5050

0.60 F VS2
Price: $5400

0.62 E VS2
Price: $5650

0.60 D VS2
Price: $5850

thanks lynn! the above was really helpful! i was quoted $4.9k. 0.57 carats, F color, VVS2. Comparatively, seems alright just that i am shocked that there is such a huge jump from 0.55 carats to 0.57 since i was quoted $4.5k for another 0.55 carats, E color, VS1 if i rmb correctly.

it says average finger is US size 6 (CN/SG/JP size 11).
i didnt know her size but i estimated US size 5 (CN/SG/JP size 9)

Nono, my actual diamond is E colour, just that the upgrading part was quoted D colour for 0.58carats. I once heard there will be a difference in size for every 0.05 carats difference.

i think have to see if her finger has big knuckles. yesterday at JP, the person measured my ring size but shared that most people have bigger knuckles so may require a bigger size for the ring to go in easier.

but most petite girls will generally have very small ring sizes unless they have big hands and longer fingers i feel.

Sian my gf likes the solasfero better but I told her it's not really worthwhile cause we could get a bigger carat super ideal, hope to keep budget under 7k.

I dunno leh. JP measured it as 48. Thought should be the same metric as the ring you got.
