Ok. This is the ring under sunlight. Its very hard to take photos of it. I took many pics and this is the clearest one. The camera keeps getting out of focus when the diamond sparks up. It gets too glaring :s7:

See if the ring setting and diamond is the same as to what you chose. Check the GIA number against the one written on your receipt. Check the ring size and pay the balance =)

There is also a complimentary H&A scope but to me, nothing much.

Received my diamond's scope images :s12:
I realised the hearts and arrows scope image they sent is in red color. In the shop when using the scope, I remember it was blue color. It doesn't matter what color it is right? Just need to make sure its symmetrical?

Hi everyone. I'm a newbie in this. If I got a budget of 20k, whats the best for 1ct? Like what cut, color and grade can I get from that price? With and without the settings.

Whoa that's a pretty big budget that can buy you at least 1.2 carat? I have few friends whose diamonds are around 1.05 carat costing them 13k with pretty good specs, meaning those specs in the top few regions.

Get a solasfera or brellia. They have no/ little light leakage, hence ur diamond would definitely sparkle in diff lightings. You should be able to get up to an E color, VS2 and above, and definitely one carat. Most imptly, use the scope to see the diamonds for yourself. No point jus viewing the specs on paper. I've seen a one carat with F color and VVS2 but it jus seems normal to me, doesn't sparkle as well as those I saw in JP.

If you are satisfied with a super ideal cut instead of the solasfera and brellia, then I'm sure u can up the carat size a bit with your budget. I personally feel if u wanna get one carat and above then don't go lower than F color because the bigger the stone, the more obvious the yellowish tinge but since F is still considered under the colorless category, it's fine. Play around with the rest of the 3Cs. I would compromise clarity (since cant see the inclusions with the naked eye), and go for better color and size.

Basic designed settings are $550 for 18k gold and $900 for platinum. Unless you wan those more complex types for eg with side diamonds etc, it can go up to $2k depending on the setting design ( for eg Verragio) and number + quality of side diamonds

I think I will go for the super ideal cut or the Solasfera. The settings actually I will go for the platinum with 2 side diamond on each side. How much roughly will that cost?
