Very hard to tell (at least for me) unless they are side by side. So that will theoretically only happen in the real world when your SO has her friends with her and they compare their rings

this isn't really about proposal ring.. but I would like to ask.. if anyone knows of any goldsmith that helps melting old gold rings into new rings? as I would like to melt my dad's gold rings he left for me and my fiance into our wedding bands.. would be grateful if anyone has any contacts or places to recommend
As a girl, I wouldn't accept color H cause I can tell it's yellow. Probably go for G?

PS: just to share some bimbo moment. Always wanted a T&C ring cause of the blue box but only realize that the ring box is black/dark blue and it's so fugly IMO (just me) and felt so disappointed. Like I was cheated my whole life. After reading this thread, came to realization that brand isn't everything. At least for diamond. It's about the specs and definitely the carat size. Hahaha

The idea of it I guess ? To own a T&C stuff. The Tiffany blue colour is so pretty! IMO at least. quite silly lah in guy's POV. Hahha. Just like owning a Chanel and Hermes is quite something ?

Yes that's their signature. I only know who is serving me during the apppointment.

Seems like most of the people will go for maximizing their carat weight with F color, VS2, and ideal/super ideal cut... let me see if I can see the difference between ideal cut / super ideal / solasfera later...
My budget is less than 3.5K with setting... was told in the email, I have a chance to get a 0.4x solasfera G VS2 but currently no stock... if super ideal cut looks bling enough... i think i will just get it...
How you guys get the size of your fiance/wife ring size? Mine didn't wear any ring normally... so can't get the ring size... but want to buy this ring quietly...

Well, yeah I would say that most people would step up in the carat weight in F, VS 2.
As for budget 3.5k, you could land yourself a pretty decent 0.4x carat weight either in E/F. As for the price of solasfera, it will be slightly 15% extra.
Hmm as for the ring size, it can be a bit tricky.
If she is a heavy sleeper, then you can get a string to measure it and get an estimation. Better bigger than smaller.
Imagine during proposing, the ring cant enter the ring finger and have to be put on the pinkie.
