Sharing my diamond pics. Still chose the halo setting with side diamonds.

it's a 0.838 carat, F color, VS1.

"fake" 1+carat because of the halo setting

to answer your previous question, i would choose super ideal because it gives me more bang for my buck. i was shown solesfera and super ideal side by side and i prefer super ideal because i felt the solesfera was too sparkly which gave a disco ball effect with smaller sparkles while the super ideal sparkles were bigger. so it depends on what kind of effect you prefer.

but value wise, solesfera can cost 10-20% more which can get you a bigger carat size for the super ideal.

I have no idea the size of the side diamonds, only when we collected the ring then casey said it looks bigger than a 1 carat but i think its their standard melee diamonds size.

I'm usually not a big fan of halo settings becos the ones I saw seems very over the top and bulky.

Ahh I see, I was given the option of the size of the side diamonds so that made me even more indecisive.

Yeah I remember someone posting a split shank version of the halo setting but that would be little too overwhelming to my liking. To each its own i guess!

Anyway, how long was the entire process? From choosing the diamond to finalising the setting/ design and finally collecting it?

haha actually never really customize. just pick a few pre-made one and combine and ask if it's doable.

Mine was 4.6K. What about yours? Care to share your specs? I haven't given the go-ahead yet cos I still haven't really made up my mind on the diamond and if I wanna up the size
