Yup, they will do a 3D render for you, once you see that it's roughly correct, you can then do a hyper realistic 3D render for you (this will take longer time) before you confirm the design.

I believe the price for this kind of ring setting should be only between 600-800 (they only charge based on material required and not customization fee)

Diamond is a 1.5ct.

I got my photographer to sneak some hand shots of my gf, then send to JP to superimpose my design on her hand. JP even taught my photographer on the best angles that they need to make it look good. Super impressed!

There's more coming up. I'll share it when I get them.

I personally would try visiting CJ diamonds for a quote because I like his work, but should still be over 2k. but the owner doesn’t believe in HCA scores.

You can try taka jewelry but u may be purchasing diamonds with light leakage :s I think better to avoid mall jewellery stores.

Ideal cut is more expensive than less-ideal-cut, because it takes more diamond rough material to cut into an ideal cut diamond. So if you are tight on budget you may want to consider looking at less-ideal-cut diamonds.

I suggest going to JP for their diamond lesson. They were the most transparent jeweller I went to and will teach you everything. They have will show you the Super ideal cut vs Ideal cut Cs Excellent cut. Then from there you can decide which one you prefer and compare.

For Poh Kim, a bro a couple of threads back just bought a diamond from him. Can google for reviews of Poh Kim but I have never visited. CJ diamonds seems to be at a good price and I just collected my ring setting from him. CJ says he doesn’t buy HCA diamonds because they are more expensive (this is true since it takes more diamond rough material to create an ideal cut diamond).

I feel they are both worth checking out for prices.

If you’re not into the quality, then there’s many options out there online. Besides the diamond, you also have to factor in your setting design. For JP, it’s not price difference since they handmake their rings anyway.

Yes, they have their own manufacturing factory in HK, everything is done in-house
