Finally got the time to upload my ring photos. Its a Super Ideal Cut from JP, 0.54 G V1. Been playing around with the camera and torchlight to capture the bling. Tried to capture the reflection of the diamonds. haha

How much did this cost? And congrats too!

Damn, I can even see tintness on F color even on a SIC. But it really depends on the lighting. Am too color sensitive 🤣

You are right about the lighting. I was in a dilemma between the F and G. I could see the yellow tint sometimes in my G Color diamond. Like in this photo, can see some of the yellow tint too. This photo was taken near the window when the sunlight is going through the glass. I find that when I bring the diamond outside, the yellow tint is less obvious. It really depends on the angle and the type of lighting you see it in. If my gf's name didn't start with "G'', I would probably got the F instead.. hahaha. Though I personally would not go anything lower than G. I belong to the color sensitive crowd. lol

Since pple asking abt price guide.. this is probably 4-5mths ago.
Just noticed that the bigger sizes are all G.
As the sizes get bigger, pple tend to drop color.

0.41 E VVS1 $2850
0.43 D VS1 $3050

You have a problem. I pity your bf.

How come everyone is spending so much on the ring but yet my bf got me the cheapest type. 2k plus.0.43 G only. While other men who are marrying sluts who slept around with so many other man before get more expensive rings?

I've learnt to tell abit after inputs from user and visiting shops that have various scopes. And I can tell you that your stone is definitely a good stone

If you look the past JP price quotes, $18k is in the SIC price range, but the qs is if you getting the same quality.
If not, then you shouldn’t be paying that much
