thank you! :) once i a lifetime so yea get as best as i can haha! coz she see my gf finger small so advise 0.5 carat so the other specs get better! eh i chose a 4 pronged solitaire one coz my gf likes simpler kind, 6 prong would look a little funny for octagon!

Ya, I get what you mean. The Octagon I think can only do 4 prongs ba. I see all the designs are in 4 prongs too. The octagon got 8 sides.. the 6 prongs wont be even.

What's your gf finger size? I'm eyeing the Octagon too.

yea 6 prong the specialist, Marie, showed me really looked off hahah!

oh not sure if its right coz is an estimate but i got her 49! just nice Marie say she same size so she could wear to show me how each setting looked hahah! if you book appointment id recommend her, really helpful :)

Anyone knows why they are not bringing in new stock for solafera? I am looking to upgrade the solafera i bought for my fiance last year to that sweet 1c but there is just no new stock since i started inquiring. Wondering if there's any negative news on solafera? If yes, maybe will change to Super Ideal instead since it's cheaper too. XD

I rem their special cuts are always low on supply. That time when I looking at the Octagons there wasn't much too. Maybe you can consider the Octagon too? It's also high facets and has bigger fire than the solasfera

I see. I was serve by the guy Eugene. I bought the Solasfera too in the same 0.5ct, but the specs not so high as yours.. lol. My gf ring size is 50.
Got my ring design 3Ds and gave them the green light to craft my ring. Cant wait :D

I told them I wanted a simple ring design like the Tiffany ring. Eugene suggested the 4 prongs for the octagon, and do it without the tray thing to see the whole side view of the diamond unblocked. I pretty much followed their suggestions all the way. lol

Managed to speak to some reputable Pricescope vendors, some of them I managed to speak with their team leader? Not sure... seems one of them was the CEO. Surprisingly when they heard I was from Singapore they actually recommended Jannpaul. Seems like the American side Super Ideals even respects Jannpauls stuff. Pretty cool that we have a game breaker originally from Singapore... like Razor gaming when it comes to diamonds
