the brellia and super ideal are very different diamonds in my opinion. do you prefer a square or round diamond?

Oh do you mean JP is a bit pricey? From your benchmarks it may be the case hmm ...

Is colour more important than clarity? Between E and F I can't really tell the difference personally. It's actually near the bottom range of my budget, although the salesperson said 0.6 is great for the ring size that I will be choosing :s22: . Will give it a bit more thought :).

Ooo seems pretty similar then thanks!

Practically speaking, best bang for your buck will be G color VS2, rest can spend on the carat.

Personally I do prefer the brellia cut. But I'm just worried that on the specs. Like it will not be sparkly. I saw some crystal, cloud and needle on the report and it look pretty much. Does it affect the appearance of the diamond?

I personally feel clarity wise dont have to go until VVS range, VS range is good enough =)

Woohoo! My uob one card arrived within 3 days of application. With ring plus setting cost of 4450, I just gotta make monthly payment of 1500/month for 3 months, then 500 per month will be easily covered thru the usual expenses. Waiting for my $300 credit rebate!

just be mindful of how UOB calculate the quarter though! if your 3x1500 doesnt happen in the same quarter, they will shortchange u.

I would have to make it in the same quarter anyway since the ring estimated to be ready in 2-3months lol. Who can resist $300 cash rebate!!!

They go by calendar quarters, so you mean you will be using Jul-Sep?

Sent from the dark side of the moon using GAGT

Doesn't seem to be the case from here though. They gave the example of August to October as transaction months. So I can start from this month too.

Anyone has experience in buying proposal ring and wedding bands from eClarity?

How's their service?
Are they good, reliable and professional?
Would you recommend them to me?

Thanks in advanced!

Hi all

Been to JannPaul last weekend to hunt for a diamond ring to propose to my girlfriend. Still a nood to diamond after the detailed education session. Any advise if this is a good buy / must buy / don't buy at SGD$9800.00 :s11:

That's their Super ideal cut. Price is about there. JP has very strict quality control so you don't have to worry too much on their diamonds.

Bought from JP last weekend. 3rd private jeweller shop I visited but the extensive education from Casey impressed me enough to know that the diamonds I will receive will be professionally explained to me so I thoroughly understand what I am buying. As the crowd was not too bad, he offered to walk me out in the street in various lightings to see how the diamond I chose would performed respectively. It was superbly awesome service so I know what I will expect from the fire, scintillation and sparkle of diamond other than the pretence of lighting display in these jewellery shops.

Nonetheless, help me to evaluate if this is a good and worthy buy for $3850, much appreciated! This is an ideal cut by the way.

i noticed there are a lot of posts on JannPaul. are they like better?

well i would say their diamonds are competitively priced and they are proud of the good quality diamonds they put up, so i guess its alot about more about the reputation? pretty sure some of the other private jewellers could make the mark too but JP has been around alot longer haha
