Jannpaul sells solasfera, house of hung inventory also have solasfera. Does the quality differs? Like the cut of the diamond is not as good or something?

JP has strict quality control, which means that certain diamonds that are rejected by JP is taken up by HOH. It doesn't mean HOH diamonds are bad, it just means those diamonds might not have met JP's quality standards.

For example, JP doesn't stock flat diamonds, e.g. 0.40 carat, 0.50 carat. So those diamonds are taken in under the HOH brand.

Nope. Emailed JP abt diamond stock and they reply that they have in their HOH inventory

in this vid, a super ideal cut diamond was compared to a triple excellent cut diamond. what would be the price difference if the color, clarity and carat are the same for both ring? sorry if my question doesn't make sense as i am just starting to research on diamond. thks!

According to their email correspondence with me, a super ideal cut is 30% approximately more expensive than just a triple excellent ring.

Summary of all their diamond cuts. They really do shine man...

although i am a guy, i gonna say i am falling in love with both the Solasfera and the Octagon cut diamond

would love to propose to my gf with either of the cuts

not really sure as solasfera didn't make much difference to me on a less than 0.75carat ring. I'm sure the more numerous facets will make a difference to a bigger carat ring though.

my understanding is that the oct and solesfera is approx 10% more than the super ideal, though each diamond is different and is priced accordingly to the 4Cs, apart from their shape.. just check with JP for diamonds that fit your budget and see which you prefer

the triple excellent score is a broad range of diamonds, and could have HCA scores between 0 - 2 or even higher.. a point to note is that the HCA score only measures the light angles of the diamond, the lower the score, the better proportioned it is to reflect light.. that being said the proportions are only one of the considering factors that makes a diamond bling, for JP if I'm not wrong, the HCA score is only used to filter the better proportioned diamonds for further scrutiny.. to meet the super ideal standards, other factors such as light return, the symmetry of the hearts and arrows etc are also taken into consideration.. as such you can conclude that the super ideal range in JP is definitely a trip ex diamond, but not the other way around.. you can go for their diamond education to get a better understanding of this

HCA is used as a rejection tool and not a selection tool that means that a high HCA means a bad diamond, low HCA does not means good diamonds. Most importantly still need to analyse the diamond through the various scope esp the Aset scope.

Lol... I was planning to propose in Iceland. But I scare she lose her ring.... Omg, the scare is real I tell u. So I change my plan to booking a club/executive room hotel stay one day before to propose to her.
