Actually my wife prefers larry, but i prefer jannpaul since they accept upgrade in the future

Why is your JP super ideal 1.09 G color priced at 15000? complex ring setting?

I'll compare the ASET of both the diamonds if they are both round brilliant, but if your wife prefer larry's brand...then you have your answer.

Just the ring alone, $14,900 to be exact, vs1

But actually is her preference to have a larry diamond lah, not a must as she is also wants something value for money too and is like $200+ different too

This is a cushion cut diamond not a round brilliant

For me i will not choose a cushion cut for engagement but if its just for your own fashion/collection pleasure its quite worth it for the price.

Generally very similar diamond with similar characteristics and specs to be honest.

Look at the stones with your naked eye to see which gives you the best shine.

If they all look the same then just get the cheapest one.

Price should be around $2000-$2300 range, if its more than that price then forget about it all togather.

I would take either the 0.51 D VS2 (if you are colour sensitive) or the 0.51 G VS1 (if you don't mind G colour)

Pricing of solasfera in JP

Hey experts, i havent gotten a chance to go down to JP for appointment. However, do anyone know the price of a solasfera diamond in JP? I am currently looking at 0.3ct one due to my budget.

IMO, Solasfera only looks nice at 1 carat or above due to the many facets(10 hearts and arrows), if the diamond is small, everything just clutter up and look messy.

Not sure the pricing tho.

i think 0.7 is abit too pricey for me haha. but i do can take consideration between 0.3ct to 0.5ct solasfera. and i wanna know the price for the range so that i can be prepared before heading down haha

Consider getting your GF's opinion in person on this. Last time i brought my partner there for fun just to compare super ideal vs Solasfera, i remember at 1 carat, she still prefer super ideal as it look more neat and nice.

Not too sure about the price range for Solasfera for 0.3 - 0.5, but i suspect the price for 0.5 Solasfera could probably get you a 0.65~ Super Ideal, my own opinion at this size range, I'll go for Super Ideal 0.6x rather than 0.5 Solasfera.
