She is looking for something like this.

For mine I really have no preference, just feel that it would be good to match hers. Any recommendation on what kind of design a guy should get?

What designs are you looking for?

Saw this on their fb page and I really like it, however 2 considerations:

1. Her engagement ring is white gold, not sure if it matches

2. Friends tell me rose gold does not age well. It will only look good for the first year :s22:

This is a standard eternity ring, now what's affecting the pricing will be does she want half eternity, 3/4 or full eternity.

The picture one is with super tiny melees, probably 0.01, as i mentioned before, price changes based on the number of diamonds and the size of the diamonds on the ring hence can't really give estimate one unless you already know exactly what u want.

Also as for men's band, it depends on how thick it is, it can range anywhere from 500 to even 1.5k+ if you chose super big and thick design, more gold used = more expensive. If you're going for simple plain ones should be below 1k for men for sure.

Think will look weird with 2 different color of whole ring on the finger, u can always get JP to do this in white gold with the middle white enamel for you to see...it's free anyway to see in 3D haha.

As for aging wise between WG/RS, it depends on individual, rose gold contains higher copper alloy hence it will 'darken/warmer/redder' over time, but not significantly much, IMO it might look slightly better when it gets warmer haha...as for white gold, it will turn yellowish over time as the rhodium plating starts to wear off. either way, both WG or RS, u can send for polishing/re-plating years down to road to get back the brand-new looks anyway, i believe JP does provide free once or twice polish/re-plating if im not wrong.

Smaller diamonds pick up less color.
At those past prices, you could definitely go for a F/G with a VS clarity, and get a bigger caret

If you have time, there’s a lot of diamond blogs to read up.
Like beyond4cs by Paul and niceice by Todd Gray among others
If no time, you can always head down to JP for no obligation education

Shld be able to easily get you a SIC 0.4 or above

for 2.5 - 3k budget i'll suggest ideal cut tier from JP/HOH is enough...spend the rest of the money to up carat.

Personally feel that an ideal bigger size beats super ideal hands down if the carat is below 0.5.

The increased size will be more worth it than having a cut that's maybe only gonna shine 5-10% more based on your current budget
