Numbers have potential.

Visual performance is hard to differentiate under store lighting unless u have a better/poorer stone to compare.

U could always post or link scope images for others to comment

Hi all, I am planning to get diamond ring soon. I haven't decided to get natural or lab grown diamond yet. But my gf is okay with lab grown. Couple of questions here, hope can get some useful advice.

1) if lab grown diamond, any online shop to recommend?

2) if I get diamond from online shop, anyone know where can I do the setting? Any recommendations?

3) I saw SK Jewellery carrying lab grown diamond now. Mostly 0.9 and 1 carat graded by IGI. The color is I but it looks really white to me... Comparable to D to F color.. Any opinion from you guys?

I think as long as inclusions can’t be seen by naked eye it’s fine to me haha but I think HOH and JP dont carry SI (correct me if I’m wrong). Think I’ve to look else where already haha do you have any recommendations? For brick and mortar store? :)

U can try asking but have to accept some trade offs

it's a JP SIC

was told to wait 2 weeks for scopes due to backlog

For diamond buyers, JP has a very simplified video for understanding brilliance that they just released. I'll suggest that people who wants to understand more on cut to watch it.

On a funny note, what Kasey spoke in the video happened to me so many times :s13:

Good color and clarity.. My guess is in the 5k++ range. Is it their Super ideal cut? They got other cuttings too like the Octagon, Solasfera, etc. Those might have diff pricing.

Was just offered this diamond from JP today and have reserved it, will be receiving the scope images of it tomorrow.

Super Ideal Cut
0.82 G VS2
$8,450 (including 7% GST)

Price seems fair to me, given that these are the past prices I have gathered from this thread

0.73 F VVS2 $7200
0.76 G VS1 $7200
0.77 G VVS2 $7700
0.78 E VS1 $8100
0.83 F, VS1, $9300

I think this is very close to what I can possibly get with a budget of 10k.

What do you guys think? Appreciate your kind inputs :)

i believe a 0.9x G VS1 can be had for slightly more than 10k, but apparently stocks are very low for that carat range

The G VS2 is value combo. Post the scopes when you get it!

Any 0.9+ JP SIC is an insta-buy

I went down to JP today and was quoted $9100 for a 0.80ct F VS1 without setting. Why the price difference so much? :(
