Thanks for contributing your view! Yeah, was told by them that the 0.8 carat ones are in the 10k+ range already. I guess this 8.8k is worth it?
you go ask other shops. 0 inclusions vs1 clarity how much for 0.78 natural. sure u -turn and by the stone immediately.

Debeers increased diamond prices again last month by 8-20%. That’s on top of a 23% increase since last year. Its a matter of time when this increase will hit the retail.

Closest whiteflash ACA are,
0.93 D VVS1
USD 12,742 = SGD 18,542 with 7% gst

0.92 E VVS1
USD 9,750 = SGD 14,188 with 7% gst

and don’t forget, your comparing it with a white series
Thanks for sharing. Good info. Any take on lab grown diamonds from JP instead? Might wanna consider them since there’s significant cost savings. I know JP is superior in diamond cuts. But not sure if it’s a place to look for lab grown ones.

Lab grown diamond has their own quality issues too besides the cut. And no one even addresses these issues about labs except JP afaik. Looks like they really wanted to refine their quality before even offering lab growns, that’s a long list of requirement, I didn’t know Jp labs are all type 2a as well.

Lab growns have to worry about inclusion, striation/ strains etc. Not forgetting the wait time. JP LG is notoriously long wait time.

It does take up to 3mths to grow one and that’s not even including the cutting

What does type 2a means?
Type 2a is the purest diamond. In natural earth mind diamonds, they make less than 1% of the world’s diamond. Lab growns can be grown to Type 2a too. You’ll only know whether it’s type 2a or not on the certificate. But note that type 2a doesn’t mean it will now have brown or blue hues that’s often associated with lab growns. So those you’ll still need to check.

Hi all, may I ask if 53.2% is considered a smaller table % for a 1.060cts decagon cut?

Colour Grade: D
Clarity Grade: VVS2 (Clarity Characteristics: Pinpoint)

Thanks!

The White series doesn't follow the same ideal proportions as the 57 facets round brilliants. More importantly is the light performance that you see from the scope. Also, the table % in relation to the carat weight doesn't matter as its just the % based on the dimensions. You have the cert and scope images? Those might be more useful. Yours is a white series anyway, which is already the top of the top. lol

Anyone know how much does wedding bands cost at JP?
Half Eternity 18k Gold ring (double banded) + Plain 18k Gold ring = $2,800

If i had gotten the half eternity ring (single banded), it would have been $2,300

You'll need to check the latest prices, because as you may know, Gold prices have increased, and De Beers just increased their diamond prices (again, as usual).
