deposit first bah, unless you want enjoy the perks for your credit cards, for eg, cash back then you can make full payment.

Otherwise you can pay the balance when you collect your wedding bands.
So the balance is paid upon collection and not at the point of confirmation (when they go ahead to proceed with crafting the wedding bands)?

Hi bros,

Should I be concerned about the feathers of this diamond?
I’m quite tempted by this diamond, but concerned the feathers may structurally compromise it.

its a VVS2 diamond, don't think the feather would be an issue if not wont be graded VVS by AGS. The inclusions are also at different points of the diamond, not at the same area. Would not pass JP standards if it has a durability risk as well, from what I can see they are extremely strict on this.

Any video to share? Light performance is usually better than a Normal Oval shape diamond. I think most importantly is the light performance of the diamond. If not it can look very blend without contrast ( usually found in typical oval shape stones) also not as sparkly as well.

Yup, balance is only required when you pick up your bands, JP also allows you safe keep the bands with them for up to 3-6 months. Just let your wedding band specialist knows!

Hi All. Any comments on the below diamond? Quoted $3.7k for this LGD.

AGS 404051731024

Actually Its a JP white series decagon, don't think can compare its light performance anywhere. Did you managed to see its light performance under sunlight/outdoors? I saw it once and really cant compare with any rounds in the market.

Hi all! I have ordered a 1.068ct, Color: Grade F, Clarity: VVS2 lab-grown white series Round 10 H&A from JP and just received the AGS diamond report for the diamond (AGS 404051760036).

Would like to ask if any kind souls here who are able to advise on the specs of this diamond report and whether this diamond is of good quality? Thanks and really appreciate any comments on this! 🙏

this is a pretty nice piece , and it’s a 10 Hearts and arrows diamond
type 2A some more from AGS

I was attended by Avery a few months back . she showed me the igi grading quality type of diamond . I was shocked of how they can be so lenient in grading.

If there is a video of the diamond, it will be great. If not, at least ask for the video of your diamond set into the ring . its a once in a life time thing .

Seeking help from all gurus, is GCAL cert any good?

I went to JP recently and they say new built lab grown diamond (2023 stock) are GCAL instead of AGS

very sure that jannpaul's round 10:
it's a very informative watch as well. gcal 8x, is known to be very strict on all their criterias not only their 4c's(more than GIA even), not surprised Gcal and Jannpaul is working together, top end lab top end cuts

https://www.gcalusa.com/blog/pricescope-and-gcal-webinar-gcal-8x-and-why-diamond-cut-is-important/

"We are also launching co-branded and proprietary 8X shapes, as seen here with the Round 10 H&A by JannPaul. If our mission with 8X is to identify and distinguish the highest performing stones,
then proprietary/precision shapes must also be included in the standard. We will be working with manufacturers to set and define standards and tolerances for each unique shape."

wonder if their entire white series will be graded by gcal8x?
