Q regarding R9 280x and screen problem

prolly TS rma card already.

i'm guessing factory set the card voltage too low (or borderline) - but need to test by raise voltage abit, or lower clocks. unlikely to be brand specific, this problem...

Yeah, they did a 1-1 exchange for me. I brought my entire rig down to let them test it out. Turn out its just a faulty card, so they did a replacement for me on the spot. Initially they suspect its my power supply, so they tested out with another new card and it work just fine, so they just gave me that new card instead.

Tks for sharing. I have this problem with my Gigabyte card too and FF14, got weird artifacts while playing and i get black outs every now and then as well :(

Will bring my card down, its not even 2 months old -_-

So it is a bad DOA card as said earlier, not some driver issue despite all that effort spent bouncing up and down... :s12:

Corners were cut to make this card more price appealing (how else to sell cheaper?), compare the build quality esp. the fets and you can see where.
