01. Amy Heritage Nyonya Cuisine
we reached Amy 1115am Saturday which they only started business at 1130, we are lucky to get a table after we knock at their door .. after that we saw like 10 or more groups of people walked in and was told by the lady boss Amy that is fully booked
Amy will recommend type of food to go with
Food wise - **** (i love their cendol)
02. Kocik Kitchen
We went on Monday around 1pm, no Q, we seated behind, find it a bit warm even though is raining heavily.
Recommended us to take their set meal
Food wise - ***
So overall, i prefer Amy food.
Can easily find hotel in malacca this weekend or it will be all full house?Feel like going.
If no budget, sure can find!
There are so many hotels over there, big and small. Worst case (small) budget shophouses type, or (big) executive suites, junior suites, and the likes. Apartment at Swiss Garden Hotel & Residences?
Edit: Do you know where is the Pak Putra Tandoori Chicken place? Cross the road from there and turn left, further on you'll see a minimart owned by a Hainanese family. They've rooms for short stays too. I've gone up to take a look, quite alright.

The better and more popular hotels (equatorial, holiday inn, ramada, hatten, casa del rio etc will be fully booked or expensive).
If you are not too picky about hotels then it shouldn't be a problem.

Is it friendly for family with kids?![]()
I worry for my old parents and my relative young kids. I intend to go with them.![]()
Which one? Swiss Garden apartments or the rooms above the minimart? Swiss Garden is linked to The Shore (a shopping mall), so shouldn't be a problem. The minimart ... it's a family business (elderly man's the father, I think, and his kids normally managing the minimart. Not sure if your elderly parents are alright with the steps though, coz shophouses means no lift.
