Question about Malacca

Has anyone taken starmart bus from boonlay to malacca in the afternoon? Thinking of booking the bus as boonlay is convenient for me but I read so many horror stories of the starmart buses going to woodlands/larkin first or being late and having to wait for them to combine buses or many stop overs. But those were mainly for KL buses I think . Was looking at the bus time in the afternoon though and there doesnt seem to have many other busses they could combine with and it doesnt make sense to go from boonlay to larkin so was considering taking my chances. Does anyone have any advice?

What you had said about starmart is true....as experienced by me many times....

just sharing 2 makan places i tried recently... both in batu beredam area, only serve lunch...

restoran chuen how - must order the sio bak and char siew... they oso have asam fish ngoh hiang.... my client paid so dunno how much...

restoran huang chang - chicken rice balls... super long queue... half chicken, 40 over rice balls, veg, big plate of deep fried tofu n fishcake n some other stuff, drinks.... about rm40...

The rate at Hatten City Element Mall seem best. But nothing much there and location abit off...

Unless u staying there at Doubletree or Hatten Place.

Element seems like a ghost town when i go there 3 months ago.
The location is very off if u ask me

Depends on what you consider "walking distance".

I stay at Casa del Rio each visit and it's very near to Jonker Street.

I've always been walking to Mahkota Parade Mall which is next to Hatten Hotel, via (cut through) Dataran Pahlawan Megamall.

about 20 minutes walk... for older peeper, may be 30 mins...

cant think of anymore... the ones i frequent are those small ones... dont think they can accommodate more than 50 pax... the taste is much better than the restaurant at hotel equitorial...
