Never tried WTS but years back read about a no show in JB pickup... I only go for Luxury Coach or 707 if can't leave in the morning.

Chicken rice and beef horfun no no cannot bring back. Durian I'd highly recommend to buy Tupperware Ultimate Durian Keepers from Shopee, to bring there.
There are several options WTS KKKL Luxury which are all rather comparable & reliable.
So whichever convenience can be a good choice.

Can take grab from City Sq/ Larkin Bus stn to Melaka, easy to find such driver? What is the furthest Grab drivers willing to go from City Sq? Or Majority prefer to hang around in Johor only?

AFAIK, Grab officially within the same state. For out of state, would be private arrangement with Grab driver. That's from previous conversations with drivers. Things might have changed since...

Think it this way, if you are the grab driver, how far are you willing to go (1 way)?
Example: 1 way from City Sq to Kulai or Kluang.
That driver need to return to his area to end the day.
Johor alone is already very big. Melaka forget about it.
Take coach also need about 4 hrs.

Oh ok, grab is within state. So intersate likely have to daisy chain; meaning take to furthest mall (easy to pickup new passenger, willing to go), then make a new booking. For eg. City Sq to Muar Wetex Parade (big mall, 170km, 2hr drive). From Wetex to Jonker St (43km, 45min).

I don't think Grab operates according to state boundaries. Some areas of Johor are still not covered. I don't think any JB Grab driver will take you to Muar because he will have an issue getting a fare on the return trip with his Grab. You will have to negotiate offline with the driver or take the official interstate taxi.

I see that Segamat, Mersing, Pontian and Kota Tinggi districts are not in the list.

Good info and surprised as Pontian and Kota Tinggi are next to JB. Meaning from CS cannot grab to Kukup kelong or Desaru; leaving offline nego.

I ever talked to a Grab driver in Malacca. He says he has driven passengers from Malacca to Johor. But the furthest he ever went was from Malacca to Penang!

I was shock because who will want to sit in his small car for such long distance. I remembered that his car was the very small CC type. Maybe 1000cc. He told me it took him almost half a day, to send 2 China ladies to their destination. Grab System indicate 7 hours.

But you do occasionally get grab drivers travelling to different cities. KL to Malacca is also possible.

Good sharing. Need to explore more, still not sure what is the full potential . This can be an interesting conversation topic with the Grab drivers, how far can you go/willing to go & have been?

Huat ah. 😁 Usually I park hotel than take grab or walk. 😁 But empress say no more long walks. 😁

Life is v short. Ai song song kao tuas & Changi.
I did that too!
Only use the car when driving to Melaka and then driving out. If not, will park in the hotel carpark permanently.

But this time round, booked an AirBNB, so looks like will be driving the car. Probably will Grab to Jonker, but will drive out to further places to hunt for food to try.
