Question for those who have taken those express coach there because i have no experience. At the customs, am I supposed to take all my luggages with me including those in the coach luggage compartment? After clearing customs, then proceed to take same coach? Thanks.

On SG side, only have to clear immigration so bring your passport is good enough.

On JB side, bring all your belongings coz you've to clear immigration and then customs, before catching your coach for the onward journey. Check that immigration stamps your passport for arrival into Malaysia.

Coming back...

Only your passport to clear immigration on JB side. Check that they stamp your passport for departure from Malaysia.

On SG side, bring everything down to clear immigration and then customs, before boarding your coach again for it to take you back to your actual drop-off point.

Take note of the coach number before you alight, so that you won't board the wrong bus (same coach company may have different coaches going to different parts of Malaysia).

i took a coach. And RC Hotel does not have a parking lot. It is located just beside the Melaka River, 10 min walk to Bunga Raya and Jonker St.

You can always walk a bit more to a spot where you find more comfortable to cross over?

Which small busy road? You only have to cross Jln Parameswara. To get to Dataran Pahlawan, you can walk a along Jln Parameswara (which is almost a car park) little bit in the direction of A'Formosa. There is a school crossing you can use to get to the rear entrance of the shopping mall. https://www.google.com.sg/maps/@2.1...ZN9r2ROtIB7ir1882w!2e0!7i13312!8i6656!6m1!1e1

Dataran Pahlawan is such a huge mall that it's accessible even if you've to walk a bit further. No scary crossing, as far as I can remember. ;)

No worries! Worst scenario, just walk down the road until A Famosa area before crossing.

I sometimes stroll in that area, where you only need to watch out for "sleepy drivers" like those we also have here. ;)
