Hello everyone. I'm currently using a new PC with 8GB RAM, gtx 780, i4770k, good PSU, etc. However, my monitor is only 60-75 hertz.
Should I turn off VSync for Dota2? By default, it caps out at 120fps(which I'm able to maintain, even with max settings). With VSync off, the cap is 60 fps.
However, there is a noticeable occasional 20fps drop during hectic battles, from 120 to 100, whenever I'm streaming.
I've heard numerous differing advice from friends on whether to enable Vsync or otherwise. I'm seeking an enlightened consensus from you guys!
Some informed advice would be much appreciated!
