CLING TO GOD

“I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.”
— John 10:10

That promise really impacted me when I was young in my faith. I believed Jesus was going to raise me up to a place of victory in the Spirit, where I would have complete peace and freedom in Him. But when I looked at other followers of Yeshua, I did not see the victory I desired. They did not seem to be free or living victoriously. We all go through challenges, but many believers appeared to be beaten down and walking in defeat.

I asked the Lord why so many of His people weren’t living an abundant life in Him, and after waiting on Him several days, I clearly sensed the Holy Spirit say, “You are seeing what you are seeing because My people are not trusting Me.” As He spoke, the words “trusting Me” burst with new meaning. By “trusting,” the Lord meant “clinging.”

Beloved one, we must cling to God if we are to have supernatural power to overcome the devil and experience freedom and victory. We can’t depend on ourselves; we must fully look to God to lead us, establish us in the Word, and ground us in His Spirit. By clinging to God through difficult times, we are strengthened from within. Eventually, God’s Spirit within us will break forth. As we learn to live from the inside out rather than from the outside in, Christ within us will emerge and make us whole.

The Good Life​

Leviticus 26:1-13

“If you follow my decrees and are careful to obey my commands, I will send you rain in its season, and the ground will yield its crops. . . .”

Leviticus 26:3

When we are living in a right relationship with God, we can be assured of his blessing and favor. Our text in Leviticus today describes material, social, and economic favor that God gave his people as they lived in a right relationship with him.

Many of us experience similar blessings. Our cupboards are filled with plenty for us to eat. We enjoy success in our work and stability in our homes and families. But even when that isn’t the case, we can count on God’s spiritual care. God keeps his promises to us and is always with us (see Matthew 28:20).

We do well to remember always, though, that we are called to walk in obedience to God. While this cannot earn God’s love for us or earn us salvation, we experience more fully our enjoyment of God when we strive to walk in his ways. Walking with God fills us with joy and delight in his presence.

There is no greater blessing than to live each day with the Lord, who loves us more than we can imagine (Ephesians 3:16-21). In Leviticus, God reminds his people that he redeemed them in order to live among them. This is true for us today as well! At the cross, Jesus freed us from our slavery and guilt in sin so that we can walk with him, delighting in his presence and living with thankfulness each day for him.

Father, you have redeemed us to be your treasured possession. Help us to live in gratitude to you each day. Show us the joy of obedience to you! In Christ’s name we pray.

Amen.

CAN A WOMAN PASTOR A CHURCH?

This message is not to go against some Churches that already have women Pastors but we want to know the Biblical truth.

In the ministry of Jesus Christ, there were many women who were His disciples and went about with Him, but He never appointed them as Apostles.

Does this mean a woman cannot work in the house of God? No, a woman can work in the house of God but God does not permit that the authority of the Church of God be placed in the hands of a woman as either a Pastor or an Apostle. 1 Timothy 2:12-14 "But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp AUTHORITY over the man, but to be in silence. For Adam was first formed, then Eve. And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.

" Position of Authority was always committed into the hands of men by the Apostles. Acts 6:3a Wherefore, brethren, look ye out among you SEVEN MEN of honest report, full of the Holy Ghost...

Apostle Paul gave reason why a woman must not have authority over the Church but a man. The reason is because women easily fall for the deception of Satan (worldly vanities). Adam was not deceived when he ate the forbidden fruit. He quite knew he was eating a poison but he didn't want Eve to suffer alone. Problem entered the world because Adam handed his leadership role into the hands of Eve.

But we have women like Miriam, Deborah, and Huldah who were Prophetess? Yes, God gives prophetic gift to everyone, either male or female. A Prophet is a person who conveys divine message from God to the people. A Pastor on the other hand is a SHEPHERD who leads, feeds, and oversees the Church of God.

A woman can be called by God as an Evangelist or Prophetess, and their work is to go outside the church and win souls to the church,but the PASTORING of a Church is committed into the hands of GODLY MEN ONLY. Pastoral office in the New Testament can be likened with the Priesthood office of the old testament. Women were never ordained as priestess even in the old testament. God created Eve as a HELPER while Adam as the Head. NOTE: ONLY THE SEED OF GOD CAN ACCEPT HARD TRUTHS FROM THE BIBLE. IF YOU ARE NOT SATISFIED TAKE IT TO GOD IN PRAYERS,THE SPIRIT OF GOD WILL SPEAK TO YOU..THE GENUINE SPIRIT OF GOD IS ONE.

Daily Devotional |Great Is the Lord​

Psalm 145

Every year different organizations host a Pi competition. In this competition, contestants recite as many digits of the number Pi as they can from memory. The top record holder is Suresh Kumar Sharma who recited 70,030 digits over the course of seventeen hours. The interesting thing about this challenge is that no one will ever master it. The number of digits in Pi is infinite. Yet, that does not keep people from trying!

In some ways this has a parallel with Psalm 145. Near the beginning of this praise psalm, David admits that God’s greatness is such that “no one can fathom” it (v. 3). It is not possible to fully articulate God’s attributes or to describe His nature. Yet, that does not keep David from praise. This psalm praises God from A to Z!

David reminds Israel that praise continues from one generation to the next: “One generation commends your works to another” (v. 4). The next few verses put this into action. The new generation praises God, and David responds, “They speak of the glorious splendor of your majesty— and I will meditate on your wonderful works” (v. 5). One of the joys of worshiping in church is when the elderly and youth, believers of every generation, join in praising God side by side.

David rehearses many of God’s attributes: “The LORD is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and rich in love” (v. 8). He does not tire of recounting what God has done. God is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Heb. 13:8). He is the true King and sovereign over all creation (vv. 1, 13).

Go Deeper

A good exercise today might be to try to write one line of praise to God for each letter of the English alphabet. While we will never fully express the magnitude of God’s greatness, it is worth the try.

Pray with Us

Lord God, one day every knee will bow before You. What a wonderful day that will be! May the generations forever sing Your praise. Open the eyes of those who do not know You, so they can join us for eternity.

Amen!

RENEWED LIKE THE EAGLE

Bless the Lord, O my soul…who satisfies your years with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle.
—Psalm 103:2, 5

I have a friend who is in her nineties and has known the Lord for more than fifty years. Every time I see her, it is like she just got saved. She always has a new joy or a fresh revelation. Although her hair is gray and she can hardly walk, she glows with a supernatural peace and youthfulness. When I see her, I feel I am witnessing the reality of God’s Word in today’s verse—Elohim will be the portion of those who put their trust in Him, renewing their youth even when their hairs are gray.

You may be getting older and experiencing new aches and pains and thinking, “My youth is not being renewed like the eagle,” as David said. I understand, but listen, the Scripture says: “Though our outer man is decaying, yet our inner man is being renewed day by day.” We are not our hair, body, face, or even our vital organs. Who we truly are is who we are inside.

Beloved one, I have my hopes set on this: if we will seek God first, our later years will be our best years in the Spirit. The power of God will dwell more deeply in us and become stronger upon us. And even though our outer man is decaying, our inner man will rise up with the strength of an eagle.

Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice! (Philippians 4:4, NASB)

Yesterday there was EDMW thread — as usual complaining life is tough, work until old, cost of living up, kena bullied must diam, food price high, job also unstable.

People frustrated because the world keeps shifting… and we all feel the pressure.
But Philippians 4:4 says:
“Rejoice in the Lord always.”
Not “rejoice when the economy good,”
not “rejoice when govt policies shiok,”
not “rejoice when my life finally smooth.”
BUT Rejoice in the Lord.
Why?
Because if your purpose, joy, or motivation is built on worldly circumstances, you’ll always end up empty even if you strike Toto, become CEO, or live in a GCB.
Because everything here is perishable, unstable, fades away, and eventually gets taken from us.
We all age.
We all get sick.
We all die.
And when you see others doing better, envy comes.
When things go wrong, anxiety comes.
When hope is placed on this life alone, the heart cannot settle.

But if your hope is placed in Christ,
you’re anchoring your joy to Someone who
doesn’t change, doesn’t fade, doesn’t die, and keeps His promises.
If He conquered death,
and if He promises eternal life to those who belong to Him,
then you can actually find a joy that doesn’t collapse every time the world shakes.
Not “toxic positivity.”
Not pretending life is easy.
But a real, unshakeable peace because your future is in the hands of Someone eternal.

At the end of the day:
If you live for this world, you will lose everything.
If you live for Christ, you will lose nothing that truly matters.

That’s why Philippians 4:4 says we can rejoice —
not because the world is good,
but because God is.

Positive Graffiti​

As a young man, journalist Sebastian Junger traveled the United States and wrote about it. One day in the 1980s, he entered a restroom in the Florida Keys and found hateful graffiti scrawled on the walls. Most of it targeted Cuban immigrants. But one message, apparently from a Cuban, stood out. It read, “Thank God the rest of the people in this country are warm and caring and welcomed me in ’62.” Junger observed, “The very worst things about America were on that men’s-room wall, and the very best.”

How are we to respond to the poisonous messages we so often encounter? The book of Proverbs offers sound counsel. Solomon, who compiled most of the book, brackets chapter 15 with similar imagery: “the mouth of the fool gushes folly” (v. 2), and “the mouth of the wicked gushes evil” (v. 28). The chapter begins, however, with the antidote to such venom: “A gentle answer turns away wrath” (v. 1). Solomon also noted, “The soothing tongue is a tree of life” (v. 4). Always, a patient response is key: “The heart of the righteous weighs its answers” (v. 28).

How might God use our words when we ask Him to help us weigh them before our mouths, our pens, or our keyboards spew venom and vitriol at our fellow humans? As the proverb says, “How good is a timely word!” (v. 23).

Dear Father, how prone I am to answer quickly and in anger. Please guide me by Your Spirit and help me weigh my responses wisely.

Philippians 4:11-12

'I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. '

Devotional:

Contentment is a state of being that is learned and cultivated over time, as demonstrated by the Apostle Paul. It is not dependent on external circumstances but is a mindset that can be developed through intentional practice and gratitude. Paul, in his letter to the Philippians, shares that he has learned to be content in any situation, whether in abundance or need. This learning process requires a shift in focus from what we lack to what we have, and it involves recognising the blessings in our lives. By practising gratitude, we can train our hearts to find peace and satisfaction regardless of our circumstances.

What is one area of your life where you struggle with contentment? How can you intentionally practice gratitude in that area today?

Prayer:

Lord, I come before You today with a heart full of gratitude. Help me to recognise the good in my life, even in the small things. Thank You for the breath in my lungs, the love of my family, and the community I belong to. May I never take these blessings for granted. Amen

To fully understand all the different facets of love, we must understand there are two kinds of love: the God-kind of love and man’s love.
  • Man’s love fails; it gives up, but God’s love never fails.
  • Man’s love is finite; it comes to an end, but God’s love is infinite and eternal.
  • Man’s love depends on favorable behavior and circumstances; God’s love is not based on our performance.
  • People place conditions on their love, but God’s love is unconditional.

This unfailing, infinite, unconditional love is the love God has for you every day! Be grateful for His love; celebrate His love; and be secure in life because you know you have the unconditional love and acceptance of your heavenly Father.

Prayer of the Day: Father, help me to celebrate Your perfect, unconditional love for me today. I thank You that Your love is a higher love than man’s love, and I am grateful that You extend that love to me every single day.

For This Christmas

KNOW GOD AND MAKE HIM KNOWN

But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come.
— John 16:13

The Holy Spirit is God’s manifest presence to us. He will guide us into all truth and impart revelation. HaShem is in heaven, but the Spirit of God, the Ruach HaKodesh, is here on the earth to disclose Father to us and bring us closer to Him through Yeshua. The Holy Spirit will take of Jesus—His heart, nature, and will for our lives—and impart it to us.

God gave us the gift of His Spirit to empower us continually, abide in us, and make real His boundless love in our lives. The Spirit is our breath—our very life. Without the Spirit, we cannot truly know God or fully belong to Him. And through the Spirit, we are empowered to be bold witnesses.

As God’s Spirit enables us to know God, it is our responsibility to then make Him known. There are people all around us who do not know Jesus. “Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making an appeal through us; we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.” As the Spirit of God brings us into a deeper experience with Messiah Jesus, let us also make Him known to others by being His witnesses.
