Matthew 13:8, ESV
“Other seeds fell on good soil and produced grain, some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.”

Just like the parable of the sower, God’s Word is like seed. Some seeds don’t last (Matthew 13:4-7), but others fall on good soil and grow strong, bearing much fruit.

Hopefully, the verses will touch good hearts as a gentle nudge—even for unbelievers—to find encouragement, hope, and truth in life’s journey.

And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock. “

Today heard a DJ from our local FM asked, “What’s most important in life—health, wealth, career?” All good, but still temporary or perishable

Life will always bring storms—stress, loss, temptation, uncertainty. If our foundation is weak, everything shakes. Jesus says the only life that stands firm is the one built on the rock of His words.

Maybe the real question isn’t what’s most important right now, but what foundation will still hold when the storms come?

Life today is full of stress and inner struggles. No matter how hard we try, willpower alone can’t break the cycle. Real freedom comes only through Christ, who sets us free from guilt and fear.

If you’re tired of carrying the weight alone, He’s the One you can truly trust.

For momentary, light affliction is producing for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison, (2 Corinthians 4:17, NASB)

Life struggles really sibeh jialat sometimes, but the Bible says they’re “light and momentary” compared to the eternal glory ahead. The pain we see now not forever one if we are confident that we have the imperishable eternal hope in Christ.

For anyone still searching, maybe this verse is a quiet reminder that lasting peace and purpose aren’t found in this world, but in Christ who promises a future far better than our present burdens.

casting all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you. (1 Peter 5:7, NASB)

Today I read about the unrest in Nepal where some Singaporeans (including my church friends) are stranded. It reminded me how fast life can change. In moments like this, anxiety is real.

But for my friends who belong to Christ, they have this promise (1 Peter 5:7). That’s not wishful thinking — it’s resting on a living Savior who never abandons His own.

And maybe that’s the bigger nudge for us all: worldly things can’t give lasting security, but Jesus — the One who conquered death — can carry every fear and every tomorrow

It made me really sad to learn of a catholic priest who has sacrificed his entire 10 million dollar family inheritance left for him by his grandmother,to better the lives of a less privileged village.
His kindness was astonishing,yet what is heart breaking is that he’s in danger of missing his heavenly reward as he has no salvation and is stuck in an idolatrous religion.
Sadly,our good works,without Christ dissolve into nothing.
Many people have a genuine heart seeking to serve God and willing to give their all like this man,yet the enemy has blinded them so as to get their souIs.
Thats how cruel satan is!
Many are lost in false religions while truly convinced they are serving God.
It was so heartbreaking I immediately started to intercede for His soul,for God to have mercy on him.
Let’s intercede for God to have mercy on him and others like him as He did unto Cornelius to open up his heart to give his life to Christ while he still lives.
Let’s intercede for all who are still lost in false religions and preach to them when we have the chance.
Unfortunately,our good works cannot save us.
We must put our faith in Jesus Christ first,then do good works to His glory.
Thats when our good works will be meaningful.
While we have breath is the time to repent and escape God’s judgment.

Then he poured water into a basin and began to wash the disciples' feet and to wipe them with the towel that was wrapped around him. (John 13:5, ESV)

When Jesus washed His disciples’ feet, He showed us something deeper than just an outward act. Serving others benefits our own soul — it shapes us, keeps our hearts soft, and reminds us life isn’t just about self.

What’s even more striking is this: He even washed Judas’ feet, knowing Judas would betray Him. If He can serve someone who would hurt Him, maybe there’s something freeing for us too — when we choose humility and forgiveness instead of bitterness.

Worldly passions never give us lasting peace or joy. True strength is the kind that rises above circumstances and helps us truly cope. We can’t build this on our own — but this is exactly the inner change Christ offers when we follow Him.
