I FINALLY FOUND THIS THREAD.

ok, i feel like trying out RC cars .
saw my leacturers playing 1 today. about 159. has the basic stuff. controller even has a digital screen.
car is like those monster car. got 8 suspension. 2 per wheel.

here comes the question. wats the best i can get for say 200 bucks ?
oil or battery would be a better choice ?

Battery is a lot lower mantainence than oil, cleaner and quieter as well. Good if you want to play at night when you are free. But have to charge battery packs after every run.

Oil usually faster than electric, no need charge any battery packs other than maybe for the electronics, just top up fuel. Messier cus you'll get oil on the car. A lot noisier than electric so be careful about neighbours reporting you for disturbing the peace at night.

I'll state electric car prices since I know that better. $200 usually can get you just the car alone. To get a whole basic kit up and running requires about $400.
