Jeezus, I just went for a test flight and goddamn the buggy was fast! Wait..I mean..FAST!!! LOL, I've never driven anything that fast before, even with a 10turn on my touring car! But hell yeah, its freakin' fast with the Mamba!

I panicked when the upper link of my right rear wheel popped off and I lost the dogbone, which was damn hard to find on tarmac. Thankfully, me and my cousin found it back! Whew... Oh yeah, the upper link popped off because I had unknowingly cracked the cup yesterday, so now I replaced it by removing the pair on the steering rod. Now using the stock Tamiya cups on the steering.

Noticed too that 3Racing's cups are slightly longer than the Tamiya ones, so I'll probably have to reset the suspension's upper arm lengths.

But goddamn I had fun!!! Will take a video and upload hopefully by tomorrow!

where did you test drive ur buggy ?
Whats your RPM on it ?
Recently we tried on grass.. but nowadays its too wet , hence the buggy gets lots of sticky grass and mud.
hardly can find any good space other than ecp/sentosa sand beaches

LOL, tested it in front of the house and on the lawn. Bloody hell its damn fast!!! My cousin said it seemed faster than his friend's nitro buggy. And then I told him I only installed the lowest gearing, still can change gearing to go faster

Hmmm, not too sure about the rpm, but the 5700kV motor is the equivalent of a brushed 10 turn motor. But then it feels a heck lot faster than a brushed one!

Found the rpm for the 5700kV Mamba Max...

5700Kv x 3 cell lipo voltage (max for the motor and ESC) = 59,800 motor rpm

yes.. the mamba 5700 is the best of the pick coz it allows you to go 3s!
if you had gotten the 7700 you are stuck with 2s
so getting the highest KV is not always fastest .

7700x8.4 = 64680 (2s)
5700x12.6 = 71820 (3s)

So you get better overall top speed if you go 3s! time to get the gold bars!

nope ... coz i am not good enough to drive at that kind of breakneck speed.
i can barely make use of the full potential of the 19t brushed hahah and on top of that i still have a 11t NIB
