Hi, I would like to start playing 1/10 series too...
anybody care to elaborate the different version? Eg. TT-01, TA-05 etc?
Which version would you guys recommend?
Heya!
TT01 is a cheaper r/c car, shaft driven 4WD, easier and faster to assemble since it has less parts, but not as tunable as a TA05. Prices for a TT01D kit with LED and ESC might be close to the price of a TA05 kit that only includes motor. TT01 has sprung shocks without damping.
TA05 is belt driven 4WD, performance wise is better than TT01 out of the box, is lighter and has lower center of gravity plus oil damped shocks.
Choice of chassis is really up to you. If you see yourself doing more than just drifting and going to enter r/c races, then pick up the TA05. If not the TT01 should more than satisfy
