There’s another method. But more steps:

1) Go to gif website
2) Save the gif you want in hp photo album
3) open “postimages.org” website - upload image (no need sign in as user) - choose thumbnail so the gif doesn’t appear too big - choose the expiry you want in case you don’t want others to see after x days - choose the gif from yr hp to upload image - wait a while - click on the blue button at the end of the second row called “direct link”
4) Go back to your post - click on to the picture icon on the right of the emoticon - paste into the url box
5) the gif should appear
