agree with qingtian on DSWH123 intention to get a tripod. Can buy now, but don't forget besides night shots, there are many thing you can take too. Step by step lor. Start with the easier ones, like auto mode day hosts with good compositions in mind etc. Then slowly move on to A mode, then S mode then M mode etc etc.

Seem like you enjoy taking nightshot also. =)
For the moment, why not consider take more dayshot or sunset before getting your tripod? So as to enjoy, explore and understand your camera more?
Slowly go into nightshot once you have your tripod.

One of the very first sunset that I took:-

You should be fine to take this shot without tripod.
ISO 100, f/9.5, 1/180 sec

i tink sunset still ok~ (if handheld)
i ish no like tripod cause it kinda restricts my movement prefer to find a natural tripod/handheld (open leg big big, hold ur breathe, rest your arms on your waist etc will + stability)

haha i am using F11.. 5s as i am using handheld.. i am going to buy a tripod soon!!!!

If u are thinking of getting a tripod, try to get a better one so that it can support more weight for future upgrade.

Just a one time investment & no need to upgrade again like me.
