just ordered from clement14, included power supply, something like 70$

Could someone confirm that i can run Chrome or any other browser with Rasxbmc build?

If you set up with raspbmc, you are not able to run Chrome or any other browser.

Successfully setup asterisk (Asterisk for Raspberry Pi) over the long weekend with 1 SIP trunk(pfingo), 1 PSTN trunk(ISP's via SPA3000) and 1 GSM trunk from Starhub via chan_dongle.

Incoming fax and call transfers between the various trunks are all working :)

If I want to buy from element14, I cannot order through their website right? (for personal use) RS now so ex leh so much tax when I select personal use. What other shops sell? And can I call element14 to go get directly from their office?

You can call and order and collect at the trade counter at 15 Tai Seng Drive. But you must order the one with the casing. They don't sell without the casing. Just collected my raspberry pi with clear casing and a micro USB cable... friendly staff they have there....

You will want to get this one

RASPBERRY-PI - RPI-B-512-CASED - SBC, RASPBERRY-PI (B) 512MB, CASED

as this is newer and faster with more ram

i see that the other bundle has also the same amount of ram, would you be able to point out the point of difference at listed at the website? thanks!

Oh i didn't see the kit content, yes indeed they are the same. One bundle come with the 8GB SD Card with the case, another come with the case without the SD card.

May I know if the Raspberry Pi can utilize UHS-1 microSD cards (via adapters)? Or it totally cannot accept UHS spec-ed card?

I know it can accept microSD cards via adaptor no problem. As for specific cards you need to see the list of supported cards on the FAQ. Personally, if I were you, just go buy a 8GB SanDisk SDHC Class 4. That one confirm + chop compatible. Your UHS card so fast also wasted on the 700MHz SoC.

Installing the retropie needs 10-20 hours?

And yes, I remembered by Windows was so popular. Try to type in the installation code correctly please...

Still installing...
