Nope... wrist pad and exactmet comes together in Singapore.

sigh i guess it's time to change my diamondback 1G, yes 1G lol. got the exactmat with it years ago at roadshow. New Deathadder with the 3.5G sensor is really tempting, good promo for it with a mousepad @ sitex and i'm sold.

Depends on what you mean by troublesome I guess. Only quirk for me is that the receiver is so big. If only they have those micro-receivers like those Logitech ones.

This is in addition to the fact that the mouse makes a irritating squeaky sound everytime i use the scroll wheel...

Ok the firmware problem is not really a problem. It's just that you didn't follow the steps properly. ^^ Happened to me last time also. Dennis helped me solve it. Squeaking sound wise, yea. It's a pain in the ***. But I did not encounter any problems with the wireless mode. Using it everyday. ^^
