Well since youre on this thread, you might want to try exchanging it under warranty with ban leong before selling it off altogether. It wont make the mouse any more comfortable to use, but hopefully that will address some of the other issues youve been getting.

exchange as in deeming it as a faulty mouse?
i doubt they'd accept it coz it might be just driver/firmware problem.
i've read some other forums and some actually have similar issues.

strange thing is, i have this random skipping when using it with my ExactMat
but no problem on my desk surface.

though the 4k dpi tracking has very noticeable smoothness compared to my DB3G
the random skipping is preventing me from performing accurate tasks at times.

most of the razer mouses that have razer synaspe 32kb memory seem to experience setting savings problem. usually solved with a firmware (not driver) update.

woo...just bought my lachesis....
It worked great and the mouse pointer is silky smooth, better than any other mouse i used before, no such problem as skipping...

now when will the lycosa release?

just got my Lachesis and its giving out random tracking problems...

1. cursor moves when not even being touched.
2. skipping randomly
3. mouse failed to track properly on one axis sometimes after a fresh boot of windows.
4. polling rate stuck at 500+ when setting is at 1000. have to replug the mouse.

anybody experienced that too?
tried under XP and Vista with v1.0 of the driver, set to 1000hz polling & 4000dpi.

the left-right buttons are A LOT stiffer, making it harder to execute a click without exerting some force, which sometimes will move the mouse.
clawing style players will even find it harder to use as you'd be clicking closer to the back of the buttons, which is even stiffer.

After playing with it for awhile...i seem to get one of your problem...
the mouse will occasionally fail to track on either 1 of the axis for a sec and than return back to normal...

Anyone got this problem too?
