I got this mouse before. It was awesome initially.
Good grip if you have big palms and performance is smooth as silk.
But after a 2-3months, i quickly sold it while it's still under warranty.
Reason being:
1. The mouse scroll button started producing sounds which are irritating and i got it serviced.
2. The left rubber gripped are sticked on, which means after a while, it will peel off and for mine, it did...
Good and youtube about MAMBA and you know what i'm talking about.
3. If you are into FPS games, i recommend wired mouse but MAMBA can do both. Up to you whether want to pump in the cash or not. Also, it has longer width than normal mouse.

Currently, i'm using RAZER IMPERATOR. Best wired mouse i have used after Logitech G9. No stick on parts. Solid builds. A lot buttons. And so far, the scroll button no sound yet. Performance also smooth as silk and cost a bit less. The width is less narrow than MAMBA.

This is just my personal and frank comments. No offence to anyone! Best to try before purchase. (I bought my imperator without trying la...)

Is razer lachesis mouse rubber a stick on or same as RAZER IMPERATOR?

I have never own a lachesis before. I can't really comment on that....
But i think it will come off sooner or later... You can change user comments from other websites or video reviews.. Hope it helps.

Hi all, I own a DB from about 3 years ago. Recently cleaned it with damp cloth and it got all sticky. :( let it be a lesson to all, DO NOT CLEAN WITH WET CLOTH.

That said, it was a great mouse and still great. Other than the slight stickiness it's functioning perfectly. No deterioration except in exterior condition due to time. Actually it got better from when i just bought it. When i just bought it, the buttons were a bit creaky. But now they are just *clic*

Great mouse.

I will also be getting a Lachesis for my new com this sep. Together with the new com though, i also intend to get a Mako 2.1 speaker.

Anyone owns a Mako and dont mind offering me a review? :)

Whats a decent mousepad to use with my razer mouse? I recently got an Abyssus for use on my laptop in my room. Don't have room for big mouse pad, a smaller one would probably be sufficient. Any recommendations? Razer non razer, whichever works =).

Go for Razer Goliathus Omega Speed or Control Edition for you. :)

Hmm... which are the keys that are wearing off?

Left Shift, ctrl, alt, A,D,L,N,M,C, Enter and space bar.
my space bar mechanism also spoilt (the metal thing behind the keycap)
The keys have turned a little sticky due to rubber degrading..
is it possible to get a full set of the lycosa mirror keycaps to replace?
i dont mind paying for the full set of new keys.

Anyone used Sphex and Goliath? Which one is better in terms of which aspect? I've been reading praises and praises for Sphex though. It being slim and more portable is definitely a good plus point.

Hi,

I bought 2 Lycosa keyboard during the last PC Show in June 2010, however since day one, I have been having intermittent losing of button's feedback for one of the keyboard. E.g all of a sudden num button 4 will not work, and each time time it is different button. Sometimes, it will be a few button not working together. The num button not working are the ones on top of the alphabet, so dun suggest me to turn on the num lock ^_^

Troubleshooting done are:
Connecting the keyboard to another system, same problem happen.

What should i do? If I were to bring it down to your office, will I get a 1 to 1 replacement. I bought 2 of this keyboard during the PC show, the other one is working fine.
