I'm pretty satisfied with the performance of the 9070XT

Test Bench @ 1440p
7800X3D
Asrock Taichi 9070XT
32GB DDR5 6000Mhz CL30

Temps after 30mins of 99% GPU util:
55°C GPU Temp
85°C GPU Hotspot
86°C GPU Mem

Roughly 25% performance increase from my old 6950XT.
MHW benchmarks are with FSR 4 and Frame Gen enabled.

Almost the same as my case from 7800xt -> 9070 for the monster hunter wilds benchmark. From 24k score to 30k in the case of 9070, about 10% less than 9070xt which i wasnt above to get, but the improvement from fsr 3 to fsr 4 is pretty obvious.

The image quality is a lot better than FSR 3.1, its at the level of DLSS CNN model 3.8.1, but is behind DLSS transformer model.

Upscaling like dlss/fsr also takes care of anti-aliasing as well which is pretty much needed given the lack of modern AA solutions in Native.

fps for 1440p from hwu. if cannot buy under 1119 just wait until gpu + free game combo or gpu + free game + black friday discount. Otherwise just buy 4070 ti super. Note: you can maybe -$100 from 7800xt if it comes with monster hunter wilds.

Manage to get the powercolor reaper 9070 at the end of day after work. Xt completely out of stock, non-xt looks decently available though in a few shops.

Im mainly looking at the reaper for my itx build, so 9070 being 899 and xt being 999 kind of makes the non xt looks a lot better compared to us msrp. Xt costs 11% more and gets about on average 12-15% more performance. That is if you can find the xt at 999. With this, justified going one tier down to the non xt card.

Nice. I feel like there's abit of overclocking headroom as well.

Personally, Amd to nvidia is not samsung to apple. Tried 4060ti and 6800xt...I rather use 4060ti with its dlss.
But now I itchy to try 9070xt due to its improved fsr4 improvement. However, amd cards all doesn't offer extended warranty right? ...or else I sure take gigabyte gaming oc with 4 years warranty.

Actually i wanted to, and here's my take on it. If you haven't manually enabled DLSS 4 transformer model to use its upscaling for every game, I think FSR4 will definitely be fine for you, and moving to AMD is definitely not an issue for those who only play on poorly implemented native and legacy TAA, of course this is just purely based on image quality, other factors to consider are things like how broad your usage is.
