This thread already dead as no more ADSL. M1 usually offer 100Mbps at $29 during Major fair. Comex Show 2015 will be coming soon so do look out for it.

Now M1 200Mbps plan is $29 so no different from adsl price.

I believe most of the 10 & 15mbps ADSL users took up the 300mbps home fibre upgrade offer by singtel at $31.90/mth. Works out to be cheaper than ADSL+quarterly landline cost.

Same here, just upgrade to the 300 mbps plan a few days ago and kept my land line...

After selling the house to you, the usual practice in the market is the prev owner will have to move his phone line which is under his name to his new home. Then you can sign up your own fibre broadband plan under your name.

Very poor comprehension. He was talking about fibre installation, not phone line.

I'm waiting for the upcoming Sitex Fair (26th -29th Nov) for some good promos from the other ISPs.

Higher chance of getting a better deal from SingTel's Retention Dept during that period?

Otherwise, I dont mind changing to another colour's bandwagon if they offer a good deal.

still using the 15mbps ADSL.
just received the offer for 300mbps home fibre at $31.90.

the offer include free fibre termination point installation but my home already have. possible to get them to reroute the fibre termination point?

It is only for Singnet ADSL users to upgrade to fibre plan at a discounted rate.. I don't think it's open to the public since you said you aren't aren't singtel user yet..

Unfortunately, the offer only lasts until the end of this month.

Dont know whether it is better to take it up or to wait for Sitex deal.

For those who go for the cheapest Internet package, the price has gone up from $21(adsl) to $32(fibre). That's about 50% inflation in 5 years.

i jumped to starhub 25mbps@$24.90 2 years back when my adsl 10mbps expired. now also no good deals to sign up. hope m1 brings back 200mbps $29 plan during sitex.
