I tried changing to a new phone cable but still the same... So might be either something wrong with the microfilter or at the DP.

I finally got SingNet to come and check the line yesteday. As claimed by the technician, the line readings weren't good due to the aging of my line. He changed/patched something on the DP and then got someone to go to some cabinet and do some wiring as well as rebuilding my profile twice.

According to him, the line is now at it's optimum and should be good for at least another 3 to 4 years.

He kept on asking me to renew my contract and told me to go for the Aztech Wireless modem (black). Anyone got any suggestions on this? Also, can I choose modem brand? Which is better? Aztech or 2 Wire?

i got the 10mbps @ $23. The CSO called my sis for the re-contract 12 mths. They even throw a 2WIRE wireless modem foc. I think the strategy is to retain customers so that in future we can still sign up for their fiber broadband plans.

I have my S$23 package since Mar 11, anyone know about more than 12 month any fines or advises from SIngnet ? I love this package than current promotion becos I don't play online that much that require fibre.

After 12 mths up, call and re-con the same package. Some members already in their 2nd contract with same pricing.

Just recontracted with upgrade from 8mb to 10mb a few days ago, but I don't notice a change in download speed with speedtest. Does anyone know how long they take to activate the new speed?

Mine was upgraded from 3 to 10mbps. They should inform you which date the new plan will be activated. I had to use the new black modem since the old white modem didn't work after reboot.

They told me 4 working days. But it's already the 6th working day today, still no change in speed. I'll call them.
