Just recontracted 15 Mpbs plan at $28.90 per month 24 months contract. $120 phone line rebate (at $10 per month for 12 months). No free modem but your current modem will be under 2 years warranty. Any failure within this period, just call 1688 for one to one replacement.

Nice i think i need to call Singnet le.

:s13:

12 mth 10MBPS Contract just ended.

When i called singnet the cso said can recontract my 10 mps at $23. However when i asked for the 15mps, she said dun have but it sign for 2 yrs, then can offer for $38++. How did anyone here secure the 15mbps for $28++? What did u all specifically told the cso. When i said a couple of my friends managed to recontract 15 mbps at $28++, she asked me to confirm again with my friends.

i called 2 weeks ago. there was 2 plans. first is 10mbps at $23. second is 15mbps at $28.

these plans are only offered by the retention department. initially the cso kept denying about these plans, but i kept insisting for a few times until the cso finally admit that there are such plans :s13:

so i guess for your case you have to do the same :s22:

If u talk thru CSO, they do not have the 'power' to provide good discount. Only the staff from retention dept can. When I called 1688 and mention about the $23 thingy, the CSO quickly referred me to the retention dept. The $28.90 plan w $120 rebate is then offered by the latter. I'm 3rd timer for this $23 plan. Perhaps they knew that I m familar w this promo and hence no need to play the denial game. Lol.

Any additional saving is still saving. If u multiply $28.90 by 24 mths and deduct $120, the average cost is $23.90 per mth for 15 Mbps plan. Compare this to $23 Mbps 10 Mbps plan, I think it is very attractive. The only -ve aspect of this plan is to be tied for 24 mths (or 21 mths if u recontract for some other Singtel plans).

The rebate is nothing to do with the Phone line usage.
for Current $23.XX internet plus every month $10 rebate, you only pay $15.XX for some month.
