Just got recontracted, same deal 12 mths contract, $23.45/mth, $10 phone rebate and got a Aztech modem/router. Ok la not bad.

how different is Gamer from Pure HD plan by MR?

Gamer has dedicated custom routing for online pc games mainly, better latency for popular games, dedicated Gamer hotline who understands the gamer lingo and gamer needs while Pure HD is mainly for movie streaming usage in line with Teleport service like Hulu Plus, Netflix etc...

Check with you, currently I am on singnet 10mbps, play Bf3 other countries server v laggy, ping over 150. So if take Gamer plan, the latency will be significant lower? will it be as smooth as playing in local server?

just call the CSO, ask them to transfer the line to retention department.
After waiting for few min, CSO told me. his colleague at retention department ask what is my reason of termination.
If not reason, then wait until my contact end then can terminate?

MR cheapest plan is $38.88 per month with $128.40 one time installation setup fees and free n15u router.

i dont have battlefield on PC so i cannot gauge whats the ping of playing battlefield

Just to update you guys:

Successfully recontracted 10Mpbs @$23.45/mth and -$5/mth home line discount for a year.

I wasn't offered -$10/mth for home line because I was given this offer a few years ago and they can see my records.

Hope this affordable plan can stay for many years to come. Thank you SingNet Customer Retention Dept. (if they are reading this)

You should write to ST Forum or turn up at Singtel AGM telling Singtel CEO that Singtel retention department not interested in talking to customer. Sure got response.

After you recontact the above plan, singtel sent u the sale of agreement. Did the agreement mention about $5 bill rebate?

I'm tiring of calling and waiting. Hence I email them. They reply thru' email offer me the same package as yours. I tried on $10 bill rebate.. but the CSO said not able to give $10.

My experience is, they will send a tech down to check and if verified issue with modem, they will change for u.
