Re-contract Singnet 10 Mbps?

i decided to ditch Singtel adsl for M1 fibre broadband.
after almost 10 years as a loyal member, they don't offer good fibre broadband deals.

U made a good choice....i m too...i wit them for almost 2 decades...changing to vq

haha...I re-contracted to 300M with 7 months waiver cum free Aztech AC router. So far no issue with ST, I like their customer service than other ISP as my complain usually acknowledge within a day or 2..!

$29 m1 fibre, flip the router and dect = $24pm with 1gb sim and phone line.
$23 adsl thread can close.

Was using ST 10mbps asdl BB at about $22. When contract expired, they up the rate to $35. I tried to negotiate the same price of $22 for the same 10mbps as I was ok with 10mbps asdl BB.

But they are not interested to make any offer and I switched to starhub cable 100mbps for net of $29 that came with free 1g mobile data and digital telephone ine and some free cable TV channels as well as TV recorder Now starbhub threw me a free 100mbps fibre BB with wireless modem/router for 1 year.

Ended up with 2 BB in the house - one cable and on fibre

Yah, Singtel fibre sales team need to change their mindset on dealing with customers. I'm planning to switch to M1 100mbps fibre at $29 monthly. Singtel may be fast but I want value deals. How much faster does one really need for general use.

If you ask yourself how much faster for general use, why you even bother about ST 100Mbps faster than M1 100Mbps for 33%$$ more?
I believe ST modem is built-in with wireless router, and no model with dual bands. You'll do fine on M1 100Mbos, unless you need to keep speedtesting for ownself song.

Singtel router got dual band version also. Aztech 7002 and 7003 (ac compatible).

I subscribed for it around Oct last year, not during IT show, when they were advertising at $39 pm with first 6 months free. What I like most is the free TV recorder. It was a real bonus as I had hesitated to buy a TV recorder because of the price then.

I have it. The M1 fibre broadband always have dns unavailable problem.

once u activate VPN, everything the same.

if u surf overseas, then 1gbps may not be any faster than 10mbps

problems is, most websites are overseas. so most people are paying for the sake of paying.

i am currently using starhub boardband wish to change to fiber.

narrowing to either go for starhub plan or M1. But issue is i miss my open net installation. Currently look like only M1 is absorbing the cost for the 1st point installation.

Is it worth their offer like not as attractive as Starhub.But starhub is not offering 1st point free installation.

So is it wise to opt for m1?

i am unable to go for fibre as my parents do not want the openet installation to mess up the house renovation.

looking to upgrade my current 15mbps broadband service but seems like no other plans available..

anybody facing the same situation??
